Kam Tong

Have been going to Kam Tong for years and have always had excellent food at good prices. It is my favourite Chinese restaurant in London.

Service has always been brilliant and the atmosphere is always good. It's usually busy!

Can definitely recommend the spring rolls, black bean sauce, chilli squid and egg fried rice. Portions have become smaller over the years but the food is still good value.

Took all my family for a big meal here recently and they all agreed that it was one of the best Chinese meals that they had.

Am looking forward to going back!

I was at the Kam Tong on Wednesday 30th July 2008, the restaurant was definately serving Dim Sum then, new management but food as good as ever, best Chinese restaurant in Queensway

It's changed managment and they have turned the place into a posh chinese, expect silly prices and nasty tourists. They don't even do dim sum anymore, I have been going to the Kam Tong since i was very young and although the place has changed managment they have always managed to keep the food authentic hence the huge amount of chinese who eat there. Now they have turned one of my most favourite restaurants and many fond memories as a young boy into a sham and a mockery.

Spot on! Being from Hong Kong I should know...

I recommend the Dau Miu with garlic (not on the menu, just ask). Translates to 'little young leaves' in English.

Roast duck is brilliant too.

I went there yesterday for my daughter birthday, the food is excellent and freshly prepared I enjoyed every thing I ordered but the only thing I would recommend the most is the seafood and the sea bass fish fried.

I will definitely become regular with my family.

well,you can be prepared to have your taste buds tickled,brilliant serve,food and atmosphere.

Me and my friends went for a girls night out starting with something to eat.

Having great food and good hospitality started our night out really well.

My boyfriend and I are regulars at Kam Tong - the BEST roast duck and special fried rice ever!!! Most of the staff are pretty friendly, nice atmosphere but a little cramped. Overall though, the best chinese food around!

Service was prompt and pretty friendly. We had the roast duck with fried rice and fried squid with salt and pepper. Skip the squid - it was hard and tasted like it had been cooked previously. But try the roast duck!! Boneless! The meat is tender, the skin is tasty and the fat melts like butter in your mouth. We have not yet tried the famous duck at Four Seasons (across the street) but this roast duck at Kam Tong was delicious and the best roast duck we've ever had. And we're from Los Angeles where the Chinese population is huge and the restaurants are vast.

Fabulous ! I was recommended the Crispy Duck by a friend, a little hesitant at first but had the nicest dumplings in ages as a starter and then the duck, marvellous ! If it wasn´t for capacity I´d still be eating ! Goood !
