Having exhausted most of Spitalfields offerings, we decided to try this new addition for lunch. It's pretty rustic with regards to presentation and cutlery etc (think wooden 'sporks') but we liked it and would go back.

Sausages seem good quality and there are basics like pork and Cumberland if you want to play it safe. I went for the piri piri chicken which was subtly spicy and had a good texture. Smoked bacon with basil and cranberry was nice and the veggie option (spinach and something...) was actually quite tasty.

Mash isn't quite like mum makes but the wasabi option is interesting, and there are wedges and pretzels if you don't want any at all.

Washed down with a couple of posh Fentimans lemonades, we went back to the office full and satisfied, having not spent a fortune. Will be back.
