Comptoir Libanais (Paddington)

I had just walked the length of Praed Street and could find nowhere that offered a decent looking sandwich. Deciding I could wait, and would make do with someting from the station, I turned in to London Street to have a wander to Hyde Park before my train. Then, joy of joys, I found Comptoir! It was bright, clean, inviting. There was a gorgeous array of fresh food, each more tempting than the next. I wasn't sure what to have and the young woman in charge was very helpful. I ended up having a wrap (though it was flat!) with spinach and pine nuts and a drink of apple mint and ginger whose name I forget but it was the perfect accompaniment. I will definately be back when I next visit London and look forward to having a meal there. There is also Lebanese food on sale and the violet flavour Turkish Delight is on my shopping list. I have been recommending this fantastic new restaurant to as many people as I can.
