Bibimbab Cafe

Yesterday my friend and I went there for lunch, the place was very crowded at that time.

There were a variety of popular Korean dishes and we ordered Kimchi stew, which is a typical, spicy dish in Korea. It's really hot and tasty, we love the Korean food there.

However, if you are not Korean, then you might feel that almost all of the food is too salty and spicy.

Don't ask for the price - it was a bit high. Even though there was a service charge added on the bill, we were very full and happy with the meal and service.

Anyway, we were satisfied with this restaurant, we definitely will go back for more!

Went with a friend at lunchtime, the cafe empty at the time, but in any case I was sarisified with the food. We had the Chaeyuk topbab (marinated pork with rice) and Kimchi Jigae (Kimchi stew). The pork was good and tasted pretty much the same as what one would get in korea. The stew was a little unusual, a bit too salty and somewhat different from what I'm used to...I detecteced a faint but disconcerting hint of tomato paste...which is certainly not a normal flavor for a Kimchi Jigae. Nonethless the food was tasty and very reasonably priced (by central london standards). Service was ok.

The cafe's strength is probably the variety of the menu, there are a wide variety of popular korean dishes, all reasonably priced, and I will definitely be going back.
