Loco Mexicano

I went to Loco Mexicano for my 20th birthday. I went with a group of 4 girls and we had so much fun. The staff were very friendly and funny, they made us feel very welcoming and comfortable.

We took very long to order and they had a lot of patience with us. When we ordered our food, we didn't have to wait too long for our food. The drinks was given to us within minutes.

The food was lovely, it was cooked perfectly it was nicely favoured. The staff was also checking to make sure we was fine if we wanted anything. We sang, danced took pictures.

It was a great night out and I would recommend anyone to go, the price was fantastic, between the four of us came up to £70 which was main, dessert and a drinks.

I will be going back very soon.

This was my second visit and as usual the food was excellent. Chicken nachos were fresh and packed with chicken and cheese, potato skins were fresh and hot and the mains were so tasty. The enchilladas were stuffed with beef and the steak was so tendor and tasty. Love this place! My only complaint would be is that both times I have gone the restaurant has been very cold but both times we have asked for the heating to be put up they have done so straight away!

My boyfriend and me just found the restaurant by accident last night and were really excited to taste some nice Mexican food. Unfortunately it’s been the most disappointing dinner we have had in a long time. The restaurant is small and easy, the table cloth has nothing to do with Mexico and it rather reminds me of an old school canteen back in the days. We were "greeted" by the waiter who obviously wasn’t in the mood for work that day. We were directed to a table and I was sitting on the broken bench, really uncomfortable. A moment later another waiter came to ask if we were ready to order. Showing such a disrespectful attitude, I couldn’t help myself to give her some indirect piece of my mind. She went back to the bar and spoke to her colleague in their own language... As I am working long time in the customer service industry myself, that’s just nasty and unacceptable. Anyway, we orderd the food which came in less than 8 minutes... really fresh, right! I had to kind of grab it myself over the table as the waiter was not bothered to come around to serve us on our table. Maybe we choose the wrong items but my boyfriend being a born Mexican was far away of being impressed by the food. The presentation was buffet style and the taste... well; I rather keep it for my self. When it finally came to an end, the well motivated waiter from the beginning brought me the bill. With absolutely no eye contact she kind of flung the PDQ machine towards my direction.

At the end I couldn’t help myself and used the rest rooms. Absolutely disgusting! Dirty, toilet paper everywhere, toilet seat off and the bowl looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time.

Everyone who wants to experience Mexican food with a Latin flair, DO NOT ENTER LOCO MEXICANO!! The money I have spent their could have easily flushed down a toilet... horrible service and lousy food
