Sat outside in the inviting fairy-light lit area on Friday and had an average glass of wine - the setting was nice, but 2 glasses of wine came to £14.55 - they charged me service to queue up and collect the wine myself!

Considering I could have gotten a whole bottle for £13 I was a bit annoyed.

Medium-low food, the worst staff, expensive prices.

If you're a small person, best avoid The Parlour. Recently had lunch here with some friends - the food was fine and our waitress smiley and helpful. Unfortunately though, I think the seating was designed by someone very tall as we all felt the tables were too high ... or perhaps the seats were too low. None of our party is particularly small but we felt we were reaching up to the table to eat; next time we'll ask for some cushions to sit on.

I was there for first and last time. Summing up, I wonder if the staff seeking ads say something like "Looking for useless, lazy people. For management positions rudeness also required".

Absolutely terrible food, service and the management are rude and surly!

Birthday lunch for 4. We all work in The Wharf and will not be returning. Wrong wine, then after 3 attempts the right white wine but tea temperature - waitress simply popped an ice cube in to cool it down!

Meat antipasto (nut free) came out with pistatio nuts in Mortadella (this was checked with waitress before ordering) - they don't do medium burgers because it is against the law so instead all have to consume well done slabs of black burger meat.

Dare you ask for more condiments - 3 times we asked for more oil and balsamic. when it did eventually arrive it was just balsamic!!!

We then complained and when the manager came over his first words after listening with his arms folded and his surly look were "what do you want me to do about it"...

There are so many lovely places in The Wharf we certainly won't be returning and if we can help it neither will any of the 1700 staff we have contact with in our office.

We were there some weeks ago and were delighted by a smiley waitress. We went back last week and asked to a waiter for the Spanish waitress. He told the Spanish one was a waiter, not a waitress. After telling him I was sure she was a girl, the waiter answered with very bad manners, telling that wearing long hair does not mean being a girl. He went without taking our order, and started to talk to another colleague, not attending to our efforts to be served. Finally, I stood up, went where the waiters were talking each other, and asked the bill for our drinks. After that, we enjoyed a tasty meal... at the Cat&Canary.

Slow service, poor quality food, £9.50 for 2 pints of beer and uncomfortable seating.

Say no more really.

Went to The Parlour for lunch with 4 colleagues and it was a total disaster. The food took ages and when it did arrive, there were ingredients missing from the salads, which were basically a whole lettuce leaf with a squirt of mayo across it. The burgers were cold, as was the steak sandwich which was also chewy and gristly.

We all sent our food back and were invited to come back for a complimentary lunch. We went a week later, all ordered steaks, they were all overcooked and also cold by the time they arrived at the table. Under no circumstances would I recommend eating here, unless you are trying to upset someone!
