No, sorry, it's not that good. Not awful but definitely not as great as people are saying. Fillings need to be more generous and authentic if they plan on competing with the smaller market stalls and cafes selling bahn mi, especially in south london. However they will probably have no trouble surviving given the area as people won't know what bahn mi is supposed to be like.

I will give them a try as the staff are nice but value for money and authenticity needs to improve.

Amazing. Just what I have been waiting for. Being a big fan of Asian food myself, I am always trying out new restaurants on a daily basis in hope of finding somewhere that ticks all the boxes. Well this place does. It's got a great location, a brilliant atmosphere, the staff are very efficient and polite, and the dishes themselves are original and delicious and most importantly, are made with fresh ingredients, which you could say should be the case in any restaurant, but sadly it isn't so that is why I have felt for the first time in my life compelled to get onto london-eating and let everyone know who doesn't already that this is not somewhere to turn your nose up to.

Great little shop, I only had 30 minutes for lunch and headed out for a Pret, across the alley I saw Viet Baguette, I was lucky to find it nestled away on Charlotte Place but I will most definitely remember where it is for next time. Great food, very fast and extremely affordable. They even have Thai Red bull! A+++

This little hidden nook has brought great Vietnamese street food to Charlotte Place.

With the rolls under £4 it’s a treat that is becoming more like routine to me. Their caramel chicken baguette has to be my favorite so far.

Finally an Asian place that doesn't just sell Thai green curry!!

Baguettes are very good. Unexpected marriage between Thai ingredients and French baguette that works REALLY well!

Vegetarians are well looked after - as well as a lot of options for the meat inclined.

Amazing drinks selection also stands out, particularly the fizzy plum lemonade!

Would definitely go there anytime I'm in the area for lunch.

Decided to give this place a try for lunch after hearing about it on twitter. Cute little place, nice smiley staff but not the best bahn mi I've had in London by a long way. Looks like I'll still have to trek south of the river for my fix. The baguette was far too crunchy. It should be soft. The filling was ok. The high point was the summer rolls. Really fresh, nicely made. I'd go back to try the noodle salads and to give them a second chance as they have only been open a day. Plenty of time to improve, good effort.
