Haz

The first time I went to Haz, I had a great experience. Service was slow but courteous and friendly, the food was good, and the meal was reasonably priced. I booked a lunch for 10 colleagues. We arrived, were given the worst table in the house - we were crowded and hovered over by the queue of peopel waiting to get a table. We were treated rudely by the restaurant staff when they learned that 2 of our party had to cancel at the last minute, due to office commitments. When we tried to order, We were advised that the advertised menu was not available that day, and that we had to eat from a special "holiday" menu, that more than doubled the price of our meal. Other colleagues at a different table, and the people next to us were all provided with the regular menu. Additional items we didn't order were brought to the table, and added to our bill. Overall, I was quite embarrassed to take my colleagues there, having made representations about the service and the price which turned out to be far from the truth. I doubt I'll return.

We started going to The Haz just after they opened. We were delighted with the food and the attitude, and have never been disappointed. We subsequently moved to Switzerland and the USA, but make a point of dining here every time we are in London. We consider it one of the best restaurants we've enjoyed in the world.

Absolutly fantastik.

Go there at least three times a month

same of the best TURKISH food with flawless service, and fantastic prices,awonderful atmosphere after along days work.

I have been to Haz on two occasions and despite it's school dinners setting, the food was very good. However, as I was finishing my meal at my last visit,we were asked to move to another table to accommodate another party. I was absolutely disgusted and left immediately and will not return to an establishment which puts customer service before pound signs. You never feel really valued as a customer when someone is hovering at your table to find out when you are about to leave.
