Fair food at a fair price in a local pub atmosphere.
I am the first to admit the food isn't the most consistent, but it is always wholesome, fresh and good value. With an ever evolving blackboard menu the kitchen are always trying something different with some success.
I wouldn't travel across town, but I am pleased to have it close by.

I like the atmosphere but the food is such a let down. I had the cod and it tasted like it had been placed on some heinz minestrone soup.

Very, very average food, but nice place and good service. Disappointing Italian beef stew was a dry lump of meat with a very dull sauce and very poor roast potatoes (more like Birds Eye wedges!!)
