Kasturi

Went to kasturi with few friends, It was one of the best Indian meal we all had there, Mr. Rajendra Balmiki Chef and Owner Bashir Ahmed cooking up a strom there with there briliant comvination of real Indian food and service.

I will highly recommend it to all mt other friends.

I disagree with this persons review absolutely .

Am a frequent diner in there and staff are at all times helpful and polite.

Condesending? not aware of such a terms within any London restaurants!

The staff at this restuarant ought to learn how to speak english more fluently and be more civil and polite to customers that eat there. I have eaten there and I certainly won't be going back again as the staff are extremely rude, impolite and condecending towards their customers

By chance I discovered nirvana at Kasturi-the food it served was wah! That was the first time I been there. I was impressed by the quality of food and standards of service, which was light years away from the curry house culture that one can experience not far there in 'curry capital'. Gohst Gazallah and Hyderabadi Chicken were two dishes both my partner and myself shared between us were excellent to say the least.

I will definitely return to Kasturi.

Been to Kasturi recently and am compelled to write a review for the simple reason - Food !

Very Good Food and even better service . Service staff attentive and quick .

Loved the chicken , but my friends lamb was absolutely out of this world .

Breads came in piping hot and crisp .

Above all , the toilets were absolutely clean and tidy . Few Indian restaurants have such clean toilets

Lady happy , mate happy , me happy ,

Happy evening & Good luck and All the VERY BEST to Kasturi at Aldgate !

Please the food is ok very ordinary i dont know how i got fooled in reading the good comments from other people but i guess its a scam the reviews are bogus from some i feel as i felt the food is very ordinary and not special at all there are much better indian restaurants in london to this, i wasted my time and money as it was quite expensive for an indian restaurant serving that quality food would not be going again

I am a City Financial Broker who has been eating in this restaurant for the past two years, due to my hectic lifestyle I frequently eat here. The food served is quite good, the ambiance of the restaurant is that of warm and a great place to wind down after a tough day. In regards to the food as I am an Indian person I place the type of food in quite high esteem, traditionally in most restaurants there tends to be an overflow of oil and the curry tastes dysfunctional. However this is not the case, the restaurant has collected a few accolades over the years and is the envy of most of the restaurants in that locality. The restaurant is unique in the sense that one does not get ushered into going into the restaurant; this does not bode well with the other restaurateurs.

Had food there Saturday evening and what can i say A Disaster! The food was so ordinary in comparision to the prices they charge. Its a glorified brick lane restaurant trying to serve indian or they say what food. We would never be going back again. Good luck to this restaurant

Very good food, slightly different from the usual choices which was a pleasant suprise. Food was very flavoursome without being overwhelmed by hot spices. Good value and staff very attentive. Will definitely go back
