My friend and I had lunch there today. We really liked the interior design but were a bit wary when we saw the prices. How can you be situated in Soho, have lovely decor and charge low prices such as this? (only one dish on the whole menu was over £10). We both had the char-grilled chicken. Served with potatoes, veggies and a lovely pesto sauce, the waiter referred to it as a "light dish". I was absolutely stuffed after eating that. (and we have very healthy appetites). For only about £8 I think that was a bargain. I had the sticky toffee pudding with home made icecream and my friend had the New York cheese cake. Both were heaven. Just the right consistency, just the right sweetness. If I had to say something negative, I would say that I had to ask for ice to make my Rose a bit colder (apparently I am the only person who likes my Rose chilly), and that I was not crazy about the mainstream Snow Patrol background music. We had a peek at the downstairs Milk Bar and Cocoa Club which looks fabulous and we have just put our names on the Guest List for the opening night on the 15th of October. All in all: Definitely excellent value for money, delicious food, down-to-earth friendly waiters. Will be going there again.
