Went for my birthday with 6 of my family and friends. On arriving we where walked down the stairs and taken back into the era of speakeasies and burlesque, the waitresses were dressed in corsets and frilly knickers and the waiters in suits and hats. The atmosphere was really friendly and vibrant! With the staff bending over backwards to make sure you had a great night. The host walked around and befriended everybody, and made you feel comfortable and welcome ready for a good night out! The only down side i would say was where they where very busy (every table was taken) they took a long time to gives us the drinks we ordered, with us having to as k about 3 or 4 times and wait about 20 minutes. HOWEVER.. this did not over shadow the great night i had! The globe girls performed cheeky numbers to songs that everyone got up to and danced, the singers they had with were west end trained singers, and they were amazing! in the break a burlesque act came on which was very cheeky! and after that they celebrated the party goers whose birthdays it was. The ending came too soon! and as soon as the show ended people went, we where looking to stay a bit longer, and we did but only half an hour longer, we would have stayed the whole night and spent more on drinks but people left and the music wasn't that dance-able once the show had ended. But the acts and the staff were great! Definitely a birthday not to forget!

The entertainment was passable but the food was shockingly awful. I chose the vegetarian option of risotto and regretted it as soon as the gloopy concoction passed my lips. Yuck! Wallpaper paste eat your heart out, risotto is meant to be light yet creamy not smothered in cheddar cheese. The dessert was about the best bit of the entire menu and if it wasn't for the ok entertainment, I would have been very upset at wasting £30 of my money.

Terrible service, unfriendly staff and very overpriced for what it is. Wouldn't recommend touching it with a barge pole!

Tried to book a table for a birthday party and they were reluctant to take my reservation and didn't want to deal with my order.

When we got there we were charged more than what we were quoted, even after receiving a 50% voucher for local businesses which magically became anulled on production.

I am very much a fan of Proud Cabaret. Every time I have been the service has been excellent and the food delicious. The place is decked out like a 1920’s speakeasy, and its glamorous and glitzy but not tacky. Its great to go with a bunch of people, like a birthday or work do, but also just for a bit of fun with maybe only a couple of you. Also, the music is great, and the club afterwards is really good fun.

Definitely worth a try!
