I have been looking for authentic Chinese Malaysian dishes for a while and I finally found one here! The chef is from Malaysia which explains why. The food and service are excellent. The waiters are friendly and you will never be hurried at all. Certainly the best restaurant on Gerrard street by far!

I've been to many Chinese restaurants in Chinatown and if you want proper Chinese food (not the Sweet and Sour/Chop suey usual rubbish) then this is by far the best-they have a huge range of authentic dishes and can probably order authentic dishes not from the menu as well.

I highly recommend the Home Made Belly Pork stew and the Mutton stew they do there-fatty but melts in your mouth and very tasty-reminds me of my (Chinese) mother's cooking and home cooking in Hong Kong. The crab with ginger and spring onion (chinese style) is also excellent.

Service is ok- not the most attentive but very friendly bunch of staff (unusual for Chintown!) Excellent value- Bring a big group in and you're probably paying around £15 per head with lots of food (including lobster last time)

I took my girlfriend to Chinatown yesterday and it was the first time either of us had eaten authentic Chinese food and we weren't disappointed. We opted for the £5.00 lunch menu, which comprised a starter soup dish, a main meal and a plate of oranges. The service was prompt, the food excellent and plentiful and the staff friendly and polite without being obtrusive. The decor was easy on the eye and the place had a light and airy feel. We weren't hurried at all and were able to eat at our own pace. I will certainly eat here again and will be recommending it to family and friends or anyone for that matter who wants to have a great meal in pleasant and hospitable surroundings. Well worth the visit.

We took our daughter to this restaurant yesterday for her 21st birthday, and we weren't at all disappointed.

The food was cooked to an excellent standard, nicely presented and quite reasonably priced, working out at around £25 per head (there were six of us). They didn't skimp on quantity, either, so we really felt as if we'd eaten by the time we left. A plate of segmented oranges was placed before us during "bill-paying time", but we only managed about four pieces between us!

Staff were friendly, polite and courteous at all times, and one never had the feeling of being hurried along as you find in so many other places.

Decor is fairly basic, but pleasing to the eye and very clean. Music plays unobtrusively in the background, ideall conditions if you're contemplating a relaxed eating experience.

I've been going to this restaurant for years, the family and I are regulars here and great food is always expected and received at a reasonable price. Is usually quieter than a lot of the other chinatown restaurants
