Went to this restaurant last night with some friends. Every time we come to London we always go to this same restaurant as in the past the food and service have been excellent, and we have done this for years. Last night the food was ok but the service was atrocious..!! After our 3 course meal we were presented with the bill without asking for it whilst we were still drinking our wine..!! My friend queried this as she wanted a coffee. The waitress said that we could not have a coffee as there were too many people waiting to sit down and that they wanted us to pay straightaway. The waitress kept coming up to our table seeing if we had put any money down yet making us feel very uneasy. The waitress then asked us to pay now as people were waiting to sit down. When we paid the waitress even queried if were going to give a tip..!! They would normally have got one, but not this time. I noticed they were doing the same to other customers. Needless to say we will not be going back to this restaurant which is a real shame as previously we have really enjoyed ourselves. - staff at new fook lam moon - if you read this please reconsider your customer service , as although you may get more people through the doors doing this, you will lose loyal custom and this is rubbish customer service - the people waiting to get in should be told there will be a wait time, as there is in other restaurants, if customers want to eat there, they will wait 20 minutes with no problems.
