I have been going to the paper tiger for 7 years whenever I go to london, the food is great and everyone who works there are so nice to you, always making sure you ar happy with your food.

I stumbled across the reviews on Paper Tiger whilst searching for a Chinese restaurant in the South Ken area. Judging by the score (food 8.1 - value 9.9) this place could be easily mistaken for the new G Ramsey's. I feel compelled to put the records straight. The place is a dingy, smelly and smoky basement, the crockery is old and worn out, the chairs are sticky and the food is appalling. If you want to spend a fiver on a dinner in South Ken I strongly recommend you visit the local Sainsbury's in Cromwell Road and avoid this place at all costs.

Me and my wife came to celebrate our anniversary,it was exciting at 1st going down and knowing that cars are driving over us.. but yeh the food was divine i love the salt and water. My fav. has to be the selection of rice, rice and rice with the wonderful salted bones (chicken wings) other then that the workers were friendly which was a poor effort for asking my and my wife tip.

You do not want to come here! In the basement, you'll be greeted with I'm not sure what. It is barely food. If you want to just eat onions and rice try DIY in the comfort of your own home!

I have been coming here for years. Ever since being a student at Imperial in 1995. The price has hardly changed in all that time.
It's cheap and cheerful. If you want more for you money, go and rob the corner shop. Nowhere else can you eat all you want for £4.50 in South Ken. Yum!
