We love coming here as a family - or as a couple ourselves. Brilliant idea of 'kids deals' between 5-7pm that were done recently. Very accommodating for No.2 child and his limited food range! Even as a veggie there is always something on offer that is not only seasonal, but delicious. And husband loves the pork belly!. Do give Juniper a try, if you've not been before - very worthwhile.

If you have children do not eat here. My husband and I were all geared up for a lovely Saturday morning breakfast at Juniper Dining - having been there a few times before. We settled into our table and put our 11th month baby boy in the highchair. We went to the alcove in the back but it was only about 10 minutes before the chef came out and told us that whenever our baby made any noise we needed to take him outside. I should state at this point the baby was not screaming his head off and had been playing with his sippy cup at the table. I have never experienced this before and my husband and I felt really upset at this experience in a 'family-run restaurant' that even provides a childrens' menu. We got up and left but it was not a good way to start the weekend.

So much better than the restaurants of Upper Street. Quality food, accomplished cooking, attentive service, reasonable prices - what else can one ask for? And no parking problems.

The food here is fantastic. I eat out in London a lot & the food here was far far better than alot of the popular london restaurants I have eaten at, Michelin stars included! The service & wine is great too.

Stumbled upon Juniper last night with a couple of friends and found out that I have a great little restaurant on my doorstep. I have been to Garufa a couple of times and was heading there again but noticed that there was another restaurant 2 doors up and decided to have a look at the menu.The menu looked good so we thought we would give it a try. I had the venison carpaccio to start while my friends had the goat's cheese.(all good). I shared the cote de boeuf and my other friend opted for the seabass. Couldn't manage desserts but all agreed that the quality of the food was excellent. The service was good too. The best news is that I now found have 2 fantastic restaurants on my doorstep and don't have to venture down to the food lottery that is Upper Street anymore!

Agree with all the positive comments here. Went on a quiet week night half expecting Juniper to be an average neighbourhood restaurant, but everything - the cooking, the qualty of ingredients, the service, the wine and value for money - were all way above average. Have been back several times since and everything was equally brilliant. This place deserves to do well.

This place is superb! My fiancee and I walked past a couple of times but for some reason never gone in but did tonight. I so regret not having gone earlier as the food was succulent. It was full of taste but not buttery, oily or fatty which is normally the way to bring out taste so the cook must be really talented.

We were both in quite a bad mood when we arrived exhausted from our week of hard work. Despite this, the place was so friendly that we both automatically got into a great mood. The place is run by a wife and husband and they are so proud and really working so hard at making the place into something special and great. Good news is that they have exceeded so go there as if you don't - you are missing out!

just got back from dinner here with friends and it was very nice. Had the coconut chicken to start which I could happily have had as a larger portion for a main course. The main course itself was also very good (pork belly) and the wine was also good quality for the price. To top it all off we found the staff very friendly helping to create a very pleasant atmosphere.

We live round the corner from Juniper and have seen it open up in the last year, but had never taken the opportunity to pop in. Having a "don't want to cook" and "need a treat" night last night, we went along for dinner. I have to say it was one of the nicest restaurant experiences we've had in ages. Great value, very nice wines from the Languedoc; excellent food again at very resonable prices; and fantastic service. One of those rare gems--an excellent neighbourhood restaurant--that makes for better living in the hustle and bustle of the capital.
