I have been driving passed this restaurant for many years. Always seemed very busy. My wife and I finally decided to give it a go for Sunday lunch. We were very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed a lovely meal there. We were warmly welcomed and the food was lovely. Very good choice of wines were available too. Very happy to have discovered this little gem in North London – highly recommended.

I am not in the habit of leaving reviews but on this occasion, I feel it is well deserved. Was taken to Da Franco restaurant for my birthday together with four friends. A delightful restaurant, gorgeous food, great atmosphere, warm friendly staff, relaxed and pleasant surroundings. What more can I say? I had a wonderful birthday dinner and would happily recommend this restaurant very highly.
Thank you to the staff at Da Franco and to my lovely boyfriend for introducing me to the place. We will definitely be back.

Jeez, is this some sort of joke? How can the marks be 9s out of 10? I live round the corner from here, have been twice, and can comfortably say it is the poorest Italian restaurant I have ever been to in north London.
I cannot for the life of me understand why it's so popular. I have eaten twice, and generally try to forget what I ate, but distinctly remember my wife ordering sauteed potatoes with one dish and getting parboiled, greasy, mushy, tasteless rubbish.
The service is fine, but the food is not.

Quite surprised by the excessively positive reviews here. Soup was very salty, tiramisu really soggy though tasted fine...all in all food veered around being annoyingly close to decent but just missing the mark. Had some nice stuff though...a nice sheep's milk ricotta special was great. Atmosphere is good- it was really busy. Poor choice for vegetarians though what there was seemed nice. And fair pricing I thought. It may depend on what you ordered as to your experience!

Not been to this amazing restaurant for three months and I left feeling welcomed back into the family!
As always the welcome was friendly and the food the perfect cross between mum's home cooking and the best that Italy has to offer.
We won't be leaving it so long next time! See you next week!

This was out first visit, last night, we were taken by friends.
On arrival we were made very welcome. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere and staff very friendly.
The restaurant was fully booked, and we could see why. This is a wonderful local reastaurant, and we look forward to our next visit.

Really really good. This is the sort of restaurant that should be in the West End in the middle of Theatreland - exactly as it is right now.
There's not much I can add to the previous reviews. The service really is good. So is the food. You really are made to feel welcome. As far as I can see, what's been written previously is accurate.
Five people eating three courses plus (soft) drinks for £27 per head can't be bad. I would have liked to have tried the wine list if I wasn't driving.
Bottom line is I'm glad this restaurant is near me, so I can easily go again.
Parking is easy enough - use local roads after 6:30pm.

I visited this restaurant for the first time last night and can only echo the positive comments made in previous reviews. From the warm welcome on arrival, the delicious food and great atmosphere and friendly staff to the end of the evening, I can fault nothing and look forward to my next visit. If you want good, unpretentious Italian food in a relaxed setting this is the place for you. I highly recommend it.
