Horrible eating. We had breakast here recently and were very unimpressed with the food and the service. The food was simple and tasteless. The service was worse. The waiter seemed more interested talking about her life to the chef then actually serving us and seemed annoyed when we asked her to serve us. They seemed understaffed as they took a very long time to deliver dishes which were quite simple. I honetly have no idea what these other reviewers are on about and would not recommend this place.
The atmosphere is alright but completely spoiled by the horrible service.

This is a wonderful, informal place serving authentic Italian food with top notch ingredients at reasonable prices in an area of overpriced poor restaurants.
The staff are friendly and eager to please. We pretty much followed the suggestions of the previous reviewer and were delighted.

We went for a saturday lunch on a sunny day.
The place is welcoming and modern Italian chic is the norm. The waitstaff is friendly and eager to please.
The food is excellent.
We had a giant platter of top-notch Italian salame;prosciutto;mortadella;speck etc(not the rubbish sold in plastic in supermarkets) hand-sliced, on a mound of rucola with a large selection of artisanal Italian cheeses to share for £15 for the 2 of us.This was served with a selection of Italian honey and jam to accompany the cheeses-first time i've tried that and it definitely works well. They also gave us a whole plate of Piadina's to eat with this enormous platter.Piadina's are a flatbread they cook on a hot plate and are a little like flat bread from the arab countries.
They recommended the tortellini to follow and we took these.they were delicious, and again a very generous portion too.One was with the real Bolognese sauce(nothing like the English version), the other was in a light cream and truffle sauce. We swapped them back and forth.
A large selection of wines at £20 with modest mark-ups and our bill came to £62 including bottle of wine and mineral water.
A great place serving authentic italian food .
they are also open for breakfast, and all day Sunday ,when they show Italian football!
