Went there last week for a very enjoyable early dinner with my wife and 1 year old child. An excellent restaurant with very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was first class - at very reasonable prices. Will definitely be going back. I'm just annoyed we've lived in the area for a year without going there earlier!

Went for a lunch midweek at 12.30pm. The place was quiet, but I can only put that down to it's non high street location because make no mistake - the food is really very, very good indeed. Taramasalata was light, clearly homemade from uncoloured steamed roe - delicate and delicious, whilst the tzatziki was set off unusually with a sprig of dill that imparted a unique and unusual flavour to an old favourite - nice touch and very clever on the palate. Loukaniko was served intelligently with a dash of balsamic vinegar (a step above just the old lemon) and cut through the stronger flavours of, actually, a relatively gently red wine marinaded mince pork Cypriot sausage. My lunch partner went for the sea bass (with a choice of 'on'or 'off' the bone - nice touch) which was cooked with respect to the delicate flesh and came out light and pleasantly seasoned, whilst I went for the grilled octopus which was vey tender, sweet and all seafood was market fresh. It is such a pleasure to each simple food but well selected, very fresh, nicely presented and cooked with full respect to all the ingredients and the total flavour experience being created by chef. This is a delightful restaurant - I just wish it was in a busier location to create a real buzz in the atmosphere, but I am sure with time, it will gain such a reputation that you will need to book to have lunch there, let alone the evenings. Well done Nissi, I really enjoyed and will bring my family to eat again soon.

What a fantastic meal! i visited this restaurant with some friends who were over from Prague. The food was fantastic and the location is great on a sunny day....right opposite a park....great for chilling out after lunch.
Whatever you do do not miss the chips....you will be pleasantly surprised. They are made from special potatoes that are imported from Greece. Plus the Mezze is to die for and service was warm/friendly.

Was recomended by a friend ,so we thought we would try it. I must say i was not sure about going their as we had a very bad experiance before it was taken over (zivana).
I fully recomend Nissi great food, great atmosphereand good value for money. And you dont get rushed to leave because they have double bookings.
We dined till late no one rushed us and no one came and sat on our table telling us how good they are. They didnt have to the food speaks for itself. if you have not tried Nissi i 100% recomend you do.
