“worst lebanese restaurant ever”
Well...I am going to write you a very different review, i happened to have been to this very same restaurant not longer than yesterday. A friend of ours from Brussels organised an oriental evening, we travelled all the way from Manchester to go to supposedly the best lebanese restaurant in town.!!
We were a group of 3 girls all excited to have a great evening together. We came to the restaurant and were shown a table in the very back of the restaurant. It was cold and absolutely no heating ! Most of the customers were having their dinner , upstairs under the bunches of onion… we just sat inside and were hoping for a nice dinner.
We sat there for at least half an hour before anyone came to ask us what we wanted to drink or even see the menu! Drinks came, the coke some of us ordered was merely water, sugar and some black coloring, some didnt even have glasses to pour their sparkling water in....We sent the cokes back and they brought 2 canned cokes and just put them on the table!! We felt like we were in some fastfood restaurant. The waiting staff was disgustingly arrogant and pulling a face until here treating us with absolutely no interest, just being disrespectful.
We made our choices and to make it easy for the kitchen staff, we thought lets order 3 vegetarian mezzes, and 3 mezzes with meat (recommended by the manager himself). To our great surprise, one of the waitresses came back to us and just went: it wont be possible to have 3 vegetarian menus and 3 meat menus. We asked her why, her best answer was: 'cause!
Shocking!! I had never felt this insulted before, and this presumably in one of the best places in town!. After we insisted, she finally went back to the kitchen and came back saying: its ok, they're gonna do what you asked!!! pfff
Not long after that, the plates started to fill the table, nothing was good (most of us had eaten better Lebanese dishes before) but it was less than canned food. The empty plates were not taken away, we had to ask them to free some space on the table, sometimes the kibbe and falafels just rolled off the plates when served, cause the waiters were not gentle and not paying attention...they left all the dirty glasses as well...the meat that was served was very little compared to the vegetarian dishes... When we left we made sure to pay just the exact amount for our food, cause please, these people definitely did not deserve any tip! I left the restaurant without saying goodbye and the staff never asked us how our dinner was. please do not go there.
Restaurant critics should pay another visit to this restaurant and be incognito; and pleaaaaase write a sincere review about them...they proudly put on their door all the awards and prices they had won in previous years, but after our experience from yesterday...i can assure you they're not worth any of them today!! again and again close your restaurant today better than tomorrow.

We came in last night to break our fasten in a good spirit and lovely mood till we had been faced by the worst service ever. After being offered a table we waited at least 10 minutes for service, but had to go ourselves to find a menu as they didn't come. When finally we call the waitress to take the order she took it, only to come back a few minutes later with pen and paper to take it again as she did not remember a thing. What else went wrong?
- After taking the order she came back to say there was no side order of rice, so we order fries. The rice showed up anywas, as a starter!.
- Drinks were served only after remembering twice, and they came after the starter (that we wanted as a side dish!).
- We order houmus and cold Mezze < bread as starter, Houmus never showed up at the table but was happily added to the bill.
- When main dishes finally came (Tawook) we said we'd like some other side, rice, fries or anything. It never came either!
- Cutlery were disgustingly dirty! (we could easily tell what previous user had for meal!)
- At the end, manager got angry for us pointing out the mistakes in the bill.
- A group who sat at the next table waited 15 minutes to be served. No one showed up to welcome them and they wisely left.
- We pointed out the very poor service only to be told that that's "how we do things" (I'm verys serious here)
- The manager did not want to take credit card, we had to go to a nearby bank machine
In sum the worst experience we've had in a restaurant ever. And we've been to many strange places with poor standards, but this was beyond comprehension. shame on you all destroying such a beautiful restaurant by hiring or employing unexperienced management and far from politness
Food big zero service more than rubbish and we never ever go back and we are going to tell everyone we know about our bad experience.

Lets now begin with the bad. Waited for 7 minutes before getting a seat. (there were plenty of tables). Waited another 8 minutes for water. (Ordered our drinks and food at that point because we could tell service was slow). Drinks showed up in 8 minutes and the server messed up the order (there was only two of us). Our vegetarian mezza for TWO looked small when it showed up 18 minutes later. I asked the server to verify our order. She replied that our order was mezza for 2 appetizer size. Wrong again! She assumed and was wrong.
SLOW, SLOW, SLOWER and a lack of concentration from the server equals a one star restaurant. There are plenty of other options in paddington, don't literally waste your time here.everything is rubbish.

Absolutely terrible... The service was very very poor, they had one inexperienced waiter for a table of 17. The food was even worse! Chicken had a bad smell, and when questioned... "that's our signature taste", furthermore, their portion were very small, the mains arrived in starter plates, for the very expensive prices, its not worth it at all! The environment, however was nice, they have clearly spent money on setting it up, just a shame everything else was rubbish!

Where to start? Living in the the neighbourhood, I decided with my wife and a couple of friends to visit this restaurant for a nice evening out.
We walked in and were barely greeted by the waiter. After waiting for 10 mins, finally some1 showed us our table. ... And we had to wait an other 20 mins for menu cards, or for any1 to pay attention to us.
We finally managed to get our order taken... So many dishes were unavailable! ( this is what we understood from this rude waiter with very poor English speaking abilities).
Drinks arrived a while later, we all commented on how dirty were our glasses( like the dining room itself actually). Oh well, no surprise there, the food arrived, and it was just disguting, poorly presented, in small quantity... And not cheap.
We cancelled the rest. We asked for the bill, and my goodness, what a mess! They overcharged us, and it was a struggle to get the items we didn't order of the bill...
In my entire life, the worst dining experience ever. Only to recommend if u want to take revenge on your worst enemy or mother-in-law!

I work at Paddington classified hotel so I go past this restaurant pretty much every day on the way home and it always seemed quiet since my last visit for a long time whether it was afternoon, evening or night. The restaurant looked presentable and nicely decorated so I made the fatal judgement of going in - only to find that the food was substandard (cold and not fresh) and the staff weren't welcoming. I should have realised in Paddington that it was always empty for a reason!

This by far has to be the worst Lebanese food I have had in London.
The time we spent time there, me and my partner witnessed about 4 people come in and leave out within the first 7 minutes because of poor service. A casual dressed waiter with a very weak English communication was lost and upset waiting for a penny to smile
The music was terrible and the food even worse. The shish tawouk came pinkish and all that i could taste was the heavy garlic sauce the chicken was drenched in. The fattoush was as terrible as it tasted nothing like fattoush. the floor and windows are colored with dust and finger print as part of their decoration
The only semi decent thing was the decor.
I would not recommend anyone go there as it is a total waste of money.

On arrival I was quite surprised how nice the restaurant was inside however, it was all downhill from there
I had hummus to start, bearing in mind the price on the menu for the dish is just under £12, I don't feel it would be wrong to expect food of good quality. The chicken wings were not as described on the menu, a boneless chicken we ordered as main To even try and get meat off of it was a mission as the meat was so tough. The dish had been deep fried and was served with some cheap tasting chips. If I wanted fried bird and chips, I would of gone to KFC or even Dixy chicken!!! It would of been a fraction of the cost and quite frankly, better quality and a lot more tasty! We ended up leaving the main courses and had to make ourselves something to eat when we got home.
From what I can tell, it seems like they have compromised on the quality of their food in order to reduce costs. Please do not bother with this restaurant, you will only be disappointed at the poor quality of the food.and the waiting time of a non professional waiters..good decoration does never satisfy my aim of having good time and good dining.

Well, I would have liked to have said this place was good after the reviews i read recommended it so highly but...unfortunately it was less than average.
The 1st problem was that it was quite cramped and although I'd booked a table downstairs for 2 more than a week before, and asked for a nice table, we were placed directly in front of the forever open door with people pushing past us...not exactly ideal for a romantic evening.
The 2nd problem was the service... I ordered a soup to start with and a cold starter... these both arrived together on the already crowded little table.
So the 3rd problem was, having eaten my soup and about half way through my starter the waiter then came and announced that the main courses were ready and he would like to serve them. The obvious response was "No, come back when we've finished our starters. This he did after buzzing around us 3 or 4 times and leaning in to place the cutlery while i'm 'still' eating my starter.unfortunately the place is no more attractive as it was before food is pre prepared and more than two days old is not fresh .service is the worst
we do certainly avoid this place and removing out of our agenda .

We feel so sorry and sad for this Restaurant and its owner .nothing is as good as it was food is pre prepared and a non comfortable atmosphere is leading the staff everything is different in comparison to our pervious visits we do not go back .
