Hellenic Restaurant

This is a small high street Greek restaurant with excellent service. I turned up on Wednesday evening without a reservation and was shown to a table with lots of welcoming concern. The two waiters told me their recommendations from the menu and I took the advice to eat the roast lamb on the bone. It was very tasty.

I then asked about the desserts without added sugar. I ordered the pancake with lemon and the chef did not pour on any sugar. It was very good.

Overall I was very happy with the meal.

The food in this restaurant is amazing it must be one of the best restaurants in london in terms of food quality because its very healthy and fresh unlike all these other restaurants where they bring a tiny portion of terribly cooked food with tons of sauce which after some time makes you feel sick. As for hellenic the food is so good and light that u can eat it everyday and the prices are very good too I give it the top rating

This is what restaurants used to be like--good food and excellent service service, unpretentious and amazing value of a kind niot easily found in the West End. It has survived through many years and hopefully will continue to do so even in these hard times without overcharging on the drinks or scrimping on the food. Well done!

Lamb kleftiko is meant to be served hot I thought, and the dessert tasted like awful. Dreadful.
