Kolossi Grill

Had a great time at Kolossi Grill on Saturday night, the food was excellent, we went for the Meze and every one of the plentiful dishes was lovely and tasted homemade. The service was attentive even though they were very busy, would definitely recomend it as it's great value for money.

Ate at Kolossi on a Saturday evening. Food was average at best. Starters - Tzatiki, hummus, taramasalata, all tasted bought rather than made in house. Feta in the greek salad tasted of nothing. Beef stew - the meat was very dry and flavourless . The lamb shanks tasted as though the hadn't been seasoned. Simple dishes, poorly cooked. I wouldn't eat here again.

Always a pleasure to dine here. Staff are lovely and warm. My cousin who i hadn't seen for 6 years was given a lovely welcome. Kleftiko is tender and plentiful though I often feel mains could do with a bit of sauce. Solution is to save some of the tzatziki from starters to give the meat a little dippage. Portions are large so I often share, in this case a moist and tasty chicken cubes served with mounds of rice. Not such a fan of rice but you can get potatoes instead which are of the roast shape-chip pan fried variety. Not the highlight but pitta is plentiful and forthcoming throughout.

Haloumi and pork meatballs are yummy salty starters. Ballanced out with the fresh greek salad in plentiful quantities-Perfect with a Greek beer or last time, champagne! Ripe melon chunks and small pieces of baklava are often served to round up the meal, sometimes comped, though I rarely have room! (have to thank my cousin for that, though serious hang over tma ) This is the epitome of a cost friendly local Greek place. They have been there about 40 yrs and long may it last! Find out for yourself if in the area ; )

I recently visited this restaurant for the second time and I cannot fault the service or quality of food. It is fantastic! I have eaten in many Greek restaurants in the UK and in Greek countries and the food here is the most authentic I have tasted. It is such a change to go to a restaurant that is still family run and can offer an exceptionally friendly service. We ordered the Mezze and we could not finish each course, despite it all being so delicious. I can't wait to come back again!

Delicious food in a relaxed and authentic environment with an extremely friendly service! After eating here once before and being very impressed I booked a party of friends for my birthday. We were all well looked after and all thoroughly enjoyed the food – the visit made the evening! The vegetarian and gluten free dietary requirements amongst the party were well catered for... after past experiences, it is very refreshing to find a restaurant that is good at catering for a necessary gluten free diet whilst still offering a wide range of tasty choices. A lovely place and somewhere I’ll look forward to booking whenever I’m in London... definitely one to recommend!

What a lovely little popular place! I went with a group of girlfriends and we were waited on hand and foot. The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best Greek food I've ever had! I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

I have been eating at to this restaurant for over 30 years and always feel as if I am coming home. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and enjoyed by people of all ages. The food is always to the same high standard. My only worry is that it may not always be there.

I am a regular a the Kolossi and am shocked by the previous review, I probably eat at the restaurant more than three times a month and have never had anything but excellent food, service and wine. Everything is taste fresh and service is always with a smile.

bad food. dolmades smelled badly and the mixed grill was at best tasteless. coca cola is served from a plastic bottle rather than individual cans or bottles.

i had to apologise to my non-greek friends for taking them there.
