Il Porco Elegante

I thought this restuarant was amazing. the decor was so beautiful - i'd walked past and i actually stopped in my tracks and gawped at how pretty it was. we booked a table for our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. the food was amazing, we had truffle pasta, scallops and a pork dish with orange, tiramisu to follow. all the dishes were a real treat. the staff were really friendly and eager to ensure we had a nice time. i really do think this is my favourite restaurant in richmond and I'd heartily recommend it for a romantic meal. not many restaurants in the world are this beautiful!

One of the worst dining experiences possible!

The food is ok, nothing special and portions mean you might want to visit the kebab house on the way home!

Limited menu, poor service, dreadful music (think Barry White and every other cliched romantic track you have ever heard from the 70's & 80's). Decor is a great idea but cluttered and fussy.

At around £60 per head with wine, very poor value.

A huge disappointment.

How blind and foolish people going to restaurants can be!!!!! I have been to this restaurant last week and what a disaster, from the food, the service, the wines and the bill !! Never again...!!

i visited il porco elegante last evening with 4 of my friends. i have to say, it's expensive for Richmond, but absolutely avarage for London. Food was wondeful and service very very nice,

This is not the rush food place, so if you are going there reserve at least 2 relaxing hours. I think Richmond needs place like this. Posh, but very comfortable.
