Went last night 19th September, after theatre.

Attractive facade, friendly service.

First courses OK: prawn, avocado salad and moules marinier (no finger bowl)

Main courses, both dreadful.

Duck confit: over-cooked duck sitting on top of liquid vegetables, v. hot, straight from microwave?

Pork belly; I had been given steak knife so was expecting "crackling", what arrived was a plate of vegetables swimming in a gravy, described on menu as "cider & red wine jus", with strips of thin, very fatty pork, no crackling, plonked on top. Again v. hot! Microwave?

Probably as poor a main course as we have ever had.

We could not be bothered to complain, it was getting late and we certainly did not want the dishes replacing. We left the food.

We won't be going back! Our evening was thoroughly spoilt. There are so many good restaurants in Covent Garden I am surprised this one is still going.

A friend and I had reservations here on Saturday night at 7.30 for the set menu of 3 courses and kir royale for £20. We were given the option of the a la carte menu or the set and comparing the two we found lots of choice on set menu. I chose the goats cheese and my friend the pate and both were excellent. We then had beef bourguignon for a main, which again was great and very filling. My only down comment was that there wasn't enough veg (onion and carrot) but it had lots of beef, so no scrimping on the expensive ingredient. The service was attentive and very friendly and we had a great time. It's a central location in Covent Garden, excellent value for money and fantastic food, you couldn't ask for more. We will be going back.

Simply brilliant. Great value, great staff, lovely food and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. My wife and I eat out a lot and often find central London restaurants underwhelming. We do enjoy trying many places but we simply love this place and keep coming back and we would recommend it to everyone.

A lot of places in Central London charge the earth, hurry you along, and employ people who really shouldn't be in the service industry. The Boulevard is the exact opposite.

Well done to the managers and staff there and keep up the good work.

We had Sunday lunch here for 6 of us. The welcome at reception was a bit frosty (unsmiling female) but thereafter a great experience. We opted for the deal which offered 50% of food. The menu is imaginative with plenty of choice and no-one was disappointed. Service was friendly and unhurried. Reasonably priced good wine list.

Are all these people that reviewed this place working there or what? The food is disgusting the worse I ever had. . Don't believe me? Get a food critic in there then... Horrible food and very poor service also. Strictly not recommended.

I went there with a group of friends for my birthday and we had an amazing time. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the kir royal offer, even better! I will recommend this restaurant, easy access, delicious food and nice staff.
