My Dining Room

3 of us went here on a Sunday night to celebrate my flatmate finishing her masters. We went for an early booking, but after a relaxed drink outside with their bargain sparkling wine (£9.50!) we went through.

Possibly the only negative was that it was a little understaffed so it took longer than I would have liked to be served, but the benefit of this was that the service was not overly-fussy throughout the meal.

We chose the 2 courses for £15 option, and went for the house white. For starter I had the mushrooms and snails on toast. It felt basic but good. I was content.

My main was the pot belly pork, coincidently we had all chosen the same, but we all agreed that it was unbelievably tender and the bacon mash was something that I will be trying to replicate at home!

I would happily recommend this place to any friend of mine.

I love this place. It's great service, good quality reasonably priced no-nonsense nosh and a fantastic wine list. Also great for sunday lunch with the kids.

Best Roast Chicken ever.

This place doesn't disapoint in all areas.

Will definately be back to taste the rest of the menu.

I live near this place and it is now serving really fantastic food. Much better than with the previous owner and thoroughly deserving of the good Guardian review.
