The Bellevue

This used to be The Greyhound but has changed names and I presume changed ownership.
We live local and enjoy supporting local businesses, so we came here for dinner.
Service is warm and friendly, but the place is not busy and the prices for food are on the high side considering the quality of the food. They are yet established enough the food is not of a good enough quality to justify the price.
Our guest ordered steak which arrived cold with cold mushrooms on top and had to be sent back to be reheated.
I ordered the creamed chicken, but the vegetables were solid and lacked taste or texture.
My partner ordered salmon that looked like it had been bought up the road in the Sainsburys Local.
I would LOVE the Belle Vue to succeed as a small, local business, but they will need to improve the quality of the food if they hope to attract regulars.
