Love the restaurant in Westfield , made many visits and every visit is enjoyable, service perfect and the food's lovely. It is one restaurant I bring all my guests to, every time I am in Westfield because the place is cosy and I am sure to be fully satisfied each time!

Never been to a restaurant which I have felt so strongly in a negative manner when leaving. The food was very average, the service was poor, the management (If you can call them managers) were so unprofessional and the main person in charge whom I understand to be the owner of the business was so rude to my wife that I felt so angry that I would highly recommend that people boycott this restaurant.

I came here with my wife on a whim and ended up having one of the nicest meals of my life. We started with the crevettes (prawns) and the foie gras which by the way I would definitely recommend. We then had a very nice steak and a great wine to go with it. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

This is quite possibly the worst restaurant I have ever eaten in and believe me I eat out several times a week and have come from a quality restaurant background. Now where should I begin...

My girlfriend and I wanted a late lunch on Saturday whilst shopping at Westfield. We chose LPDJ because it looked very inviting with a chic art Deco décor and a nice but sparse presentation of Crustacea. Our experience goes to show that our perception was totally off key on this occasion.

"Have you booked?" said the guy on reception (The restaurant was empty and the time was 3pm) I said no we haven't and he said he would check for availability. He sat us at a nice table to the side of the restaurant.

Now, starting with service.. the waiting staff consisting of a team of 5 plus bar staff and managers and the guy on the reception who I am not describing as a gentleman because of what we experienced at the end of our meal. The service was slow and lacked panache, staff were not trained at all. We ordered oysters to begin and we had to ask for Oyster cutlery and the condiments to go with them. The lemon looked like it had already been squeezed and when I asked for some more I was advised that there wasn't any left. We ordered two large glasses of white wine, a Sauvignon and a Chenin blanc but had to ask twice where they were and had finished our Oysters when they arrived. We chose from the set lunch menu. Two Prawn Cocktails (Cheap Prawns used) and two mains of chicken with tiger prawns in a lemon butter sauce. I would like to say value for money but I guess its not value if you leave the food. There was a lack of presentation, the food was over seasoned, the general feel of the menu was pedestrian. In my experience, the set lunch menu of a restaurant can do two things, it can bring lunch trade into the restaurant during quiet spells and it is a way of showcasing the delights of the a la carte menu. The menu was priced at £12.50 for two courses including sides of veg and rice. In fact the vegetables were the only part of the meal which were cooked well.

The toilets were DISGUSTING, smelly, dirty, no toilet roll, no hand towels, wet floors and if I had visited these before my meal, I would have walked out of the restaurant.

We paid our bill and left but on the way out I asked to speak with the manager and I was presented with the owner. The presentation of the owner probably demonstrates why his restaurant is so badly managed. He was wearing a black jacket which looked like it had 'seen its day'... We were very polite to him and expressed our feelings to him about the service, the food and the toilets and his response was a strange one. He asked my girlfriend how old she was and advised her that because she is 25, she does not have a clue on what a good restaurant is and he asked me what I do for a living to which I replied that it had no relevance to what we were speaking about. He then said if I wont tell him then he has no time to talk with me and we should never return. I smiled and said that not only would I not return, I would make sure that every single person I speak to, I will mention what an awful meal I had at this vile, disgusting, awful restaurant. Take it from me, this restaurant will NOT last at Westfield. This I admit is my opinion and I would think wisely before spending your money in this horrible place

Enjoyed a lovely meal at this restaurant on a Friday evening. Myself and my fiance both ordered the Australian lobster thermidor, having eaten at a number of seafood restaurants in London and abroad can honestly say this was the best well presented lobster I have tried to date. To add the staff were very friendly and attentive, something of a rarity at many eateries these days. Will definately be returning.

we came to LPDJ last night as it seemed to have a good deal on lobsters and a chic decor. The menu selection seemed good but the problem came with the starters; 2 of the 6 oysters should never have been served. To their credit the waitress promptly replaced them without a fuss. The true farce came during the mains however, when I was served an incredibly rubbery piece of meat that passed as lobster. The chef should be shot for wasting such good seafood. The seafood chef was not the isolated problem my partner had steak that totally lacked seasoning and a brown sauce that had already congealed when served to us. The quality of the cooking leaves much to be desired and I was loathe to find that my incredibly sub-standard meal came up to £80 for 2.

To be fair the waitressing staff were accommodating and I have no problems on that end but if this restaurant wants to survive at Westfield it needs to have a long hard look at the dishes coming out of its kitchen.

Had lunch yesterday, excellent service and the food was delicious as well as beautifully presented . Took a friend for the first time and she will definitely return with her husband. I had my partner's birthday party in April and once again a roaring success, beautiful wine the pinot noir. I will always recommend the restaurant.

We went to this restaurant as we thought it would good for special occasions. Rude waiters and manager. Whenever we asked where our food or drinks were we constantly told how busy they were. Asked to move to a table inside as it stared raining and were told by the manager he had other customers to think about to seat. Left waiting ages without drinks, seafood platter served without cutlery and plates. Had to re ask for almost everything. WORST RESTURANT I HAVE BEEN TO. When we asked waiter to remove service charge he started arguing with us. so we just paid and left. V unhappy experience and will never go back.

I searched for a place that I could go with my girlfriend.

She wanted to have some oysters and told me she wanted to go to chelsea.

I looked online and found this resturant LPDJ and asked her if she wanted to go there. We looked at the review of the restaurant and decided to give it a go.

When we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and was taken to our table. The waiter helped me and my girlfriend out of our coats and pulled out the chair for us.

When decided for our food, we were given bread, and water. the food was immaculate and the service was great. We had starters and decided to go for the oyster platter. It was very big and the highly recommended.

The bill of £100 pounds for the wine, food and service was well spent and I would recommend people going there.

When leaving, we were helped into our coats by the waiter and me and my girlfriend had the best service and time which was unexpected.

I am very surprised by the bad review as I had a great experience on Saturday night: the food was superb, the staff very attentive and really not that expensive. The choice of fruits de mer is impressive and of very good quality.

I would highly recommend this place.
