I am a very fussy pizza lover and, without doubt the pizza in Soho Joe is the best I have tasted. Very thin crusts (as they should be) with delicious fresh toppings. We had ham with rocket and tomato and mozzarella and they were simply delicious. Loved the vibe of the restaurant, location and staff were really friendly. Fab value for money.

After many trips to Soho we have just stumbled upon this little gem where lovely food is served in great surroundings by genuine and friendly staff. The owner took some time to have a chat with us which is always appreciated. The food was excellent and the prices are exceptionally reasonable. We had the burgers for lunch and returned for pizza in the evening.
We will not be returning to other more plastic and overpriced restaurants but WILL be making Soho Joes our new city haunt.

Read the reviews online, which were the motivation for me heading over there with my family to grab some 'Italian-style' pizza. My initial thoughts were positive: it's ambience was nice and I enjoyed the selection on menu. As for our meals, sure, it was thin crust, but the crust was completely tasteless, pizza was only just warm and the staff were not very kind. Since all pizzas are the same price, surely requesting a half-half pizza is not unreasonable, but, to them, it is. At £7 a pizza, it is cheap, but the quality is worth way less than that. Will not be coming back.

£7 for a 12-inch sit-down pizza on Soho? I wouldn't have thought it possible but it is at SJ's. Freshly made and very tasty. If anything, a little large for lunch.
Great atmosphere, great place!

Good quality and variety of pizzas at the best price you'll find in central London. Nice buzz in the restaurant provides a good mix between sit down restaurant and lively bar vibe.

Been to this place a couple of times, always been the same. Very tasty pizzas, excellent value at only £6. Atmosphere is very relaxed and unpretentious. Great choice of freshly made tasty pizzas. I think they do other stuff like pasta etc, but pizza is definitely the main draw. Service is fine, nothing notable. Have been back and will definitely go again. Highly recommended if you want a great value, tasty pizza in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

i have been here a few times now - and my experience is always the same. a lovely relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. a great place to meat a friend and unwind after a day at work. the pizza is very reasonable and delicious, with fresh ingredients that really make the difference. my favourite is the pepperoni, although i have been impressed by everything i have eaten at Soho Joes. In terms of value, quality and atmosphere the place really can't be faulted and it is no surprise that it is starting to generate a real buzz. a hidden gem... but not for long!

Just had a lasagne for lunch from Soho Joe's. Got back to work to find it was freezing cold in the centre. Upon going back to the restaurant an extremely rude woman simply gave me back my £6 without uttering a single word of apology. I wouldn't have been so bothered but it was a slightly older woman who seemed as though she was actually in charge.
This restaurant was quite good when it first opened and I did have some nice meals in there. As with most places - it seems the attention to detail and service is slipping and after today's debacle I'm sure it will only get worse.
