Okawari

I absolutely adore this restaurant! Its got a great atmosphere, the foods always delish and the staff are very pleasant. I go there as often as I can and without a doubt it is my favourite restaurant in Ealing. Also what makes this restaurant to special is the seating, its a bit more fun then just sitting at a table n chairs and acting proper for an hour or so...but isn't that what Japanese restaurants are supposed to be like?!

An elegantly designed restaurant, with funky seats that let you dangle your legs in the space under the table, so you don't have to kneel. The lighting and atmosphere also gives a relaxing experience. However, the service is slightly rude and slow (and not authentically japanese!). I am also dissapointed with the slightly overpriced sushi...but since it is fresh, you can't complain too much. Try it out if you are in the area and if you don't mind waiting a while to get served.

I love Okawari

My boyfriend an I go here at least once a fortnight as the sushi is good, especially the sashimi which is excellent, and the staff are wonderfully polite and helful.

You could spend more and go to sushi-hiro providing they can be bothered to open or if you don't mind being herded out after an hour but I know where I'll keep spending my money

We just got to the UK from South Africa and loved Sushi back home. So we decided to go and try this place out. Made a booking (a good idea) and off we went. When we arrived we were treated really well and sat at the Japanese style tables, thank goodness it had a drop for our legs, otherwise i would have died sitting with my legs crossed.

The waiters are authentic Japanese people, the food is great, the pieces of sushi are huge and the saki is great. I will be going back there at least once a month for my monthly dose of sushi.
