I dined here for the first time on Saturday night. We booked a table downstairs in the bar area, which has pretty amazing decor and excellent lighting; it would be a great date venue. A pianist joined us later, but somehow managed to avoid making the atmosphere cheesey.
I started with the risotto balls, (shared with my friend) which were extremely tasty, but if I am totally honest, they were a bit cold in the middle, and also I found the rice anything but al dente. The texture was just too mushy. This was the only blip, though, and hopefully this will be rectified next time.
The fish (sea bream) was a triumph, and the chips with bearnaise were delicious, although ordering them was pure greed on my part! We finished with a chocolate creme brulee (with ice cream) which was also a triumph, with a beatifully crisp, caremalised top.
The wine (an Italian white) was very well chosen and perfect for a hot summer's evening and it wasn't ridulously over-priced. The prosecco was also a tasty drop, and nice and dry. We also had a mojito by the bar, and I can vouch that it very well mixed by a seasoned barman.
Overall, I'd say Entree is a breath of fresh air; delicous, well-executed, simple food, and probably my favourite restaurant in the area. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out big time.

Went to Entree last Wed evening. Despite the booking (made through this website) not showing on their system, they were unflappable and fitted us in (admittedly only 2 of us) with no fuss even though the restaurant was busy.
Had drinks in the bar downstairs (G and T at 7 quid each a bit steep I thought!)
The food and service was perfect - we took advantage of the 2 for £20/3 for £25 offer and the choice was very good. My fish main course was perfectly cooked and the accompanying smashed spuds and parsnip puree set it off perfectly.
Desserts pretty fab - my parfait very rich and creamy!
Will defo go back - not sure how much the full price menu would work out, but we paid £95 for two for 3 courses, drinks (G and T's, 1/2 bottle wine, 2 glasses pudding wine) and service.

I went to Entree last night. The atmosphere was buzzy boarder line a little loud but then again it was 9.30pm on a Friday night and i believe they had a private function downstairs in the bar. We had a warm welcome and staff knew what they were talking about. The night we went they had a steak tartar special as well as a Venison. I ordered them both and was very impressed. I have lived in Battersea for 7 years and feel this was in my top 2 or 3 meals in the area. Presentation was amazing and i thought the price was outstanding in comparison to other restaurants on the same street. There have been many businesses go through that particular location but last night it was packed with people being turned away. Just what the area needs. Well Done.

Had dinner here last night and thought it was fantastic. Food was amazing (Foi Gras for entree and Mutton for main) and servings were fairly large for the quality of food we had. Wines were reasonably priced and service was great. Very friendly staff and a cool piano bar downstairs which we didn't even realise was there. Can't wait to go back.

Absolutely agree with last reviewer. Good food but a bit pricey but we had the 50% voucher so it was a bargain. Cocktails fantastic. Service slow. One waitress made us feel like we were a bother to be customers in their restaurant but others all very friendly. Buzzy vibe. All tables full.

A welcome addition to the neighbourhood, or it would be if it weren't quite so over-priced. The chef has done time at Aikens and Le Gavroche and this occasionally shines through in his cooking, but not enough to justify West End prices in SW London. Service on our recent visit was slow and not very well informed. However, the cocktails are rather good and the ambience in the basement bar is enjoyable on quieter evenings.

I've been to Entree a number of times and always had a good time! It's a great place to go whether it's a romantic dinner or catch up with friends! The food is absolutely amazing and the Italian barman can make you a drink for every mood! The staff is very attentive and makes you feel welcome. They have a pianist on Wednesdays which only adds to fabulous atmosphere! Definitely my favourite restaurant/bar in Clapham!
