Friendly service and great, authentic Sichuanese food. The starter platter is a great idea and don't miss out on the cumin lamb. Delicious.

I don't often write restaurant reviews, but couldn't help myself in this case. We've been to Sichuan-Folk a few times now, and have been very impressed on all occassions! Great, authentic Sichuan food, along with very friendly service and great value! This is by far our new favourite Chinese restaurant in London!

Sichuan-Folk is an oasis among the chains of Liverpool Street and it deserves to do really well - so go along! I've been a couple of times since it opened, and been really impressed. The Sichuan food is very authentic (my chinese girlfriend says so, so it must be true), tastes great, and is pretty cheap compared to most other Sichuan places in town. Sichuan crispy fish was lovely, as was a big bowl of fish fillets in spicy broth. I even liked the crunchy jellyfish. The couple running the restaurant, and the rest or the staff, are charming and friendly. What more could you ask for?

At last! Something other than curry or bad pizza, in the Brick Lane area! We were so thrilled to find a new restaurant in our area that wasn't a curry house, that we walked straight in.

The vast menu is fairly priced, and offers not only the usual Chinese Restaurant dishes but authentic cuisine too.

The service is good and the food very tasty. The decor is clean but basic.

The female owner came to check that we were happy with our food, and urged us to come back another time to try the more traditional food, she is happy to advise you regarding dishes for unfamiliar western palates....we will definitely return.

They also do takeaway and delivery
