I decided to check this place out with a work colleague as its not too far from us and needed a sushi fix.

The interior is sharp and cool, but there were not many diners when we went, perhaps because the place is very new.

Decided on one of their platters, which was a mix of sashimi, maki and edamame. The sashimi was exquisite and the maki not too bad either. I requested some eel and cucumber futomaki which was not on the menu (I love eel), the staff were very accomodating and it was delicious. Drinks are reasonably priced but I usually plump for tap water.

This place was brought to my attention by tastelondon, so we managed to get 50% off as well (it felt a bit like we were swindling them!).

Was so impressed, went back for lunch the next day with my girlfriend who was equally impressed.

Keep up the good work Ukai, I will be a regular!
