Il Fiume

We were lucky enough to find Il Fiume open last Friday lunchtime as they had opened specially on request to 3 diners who had made the trip from Essex. This was our first visit and the food was of an extremely high standard, freshly cooked, very flavousome and generously portioned. The set menu, which we ate from, provided excellent value traditional Italian dishes and included copiours portions of delicious saute potatoes and fresh vegetables. Charming service too, we will definitely be back - perhaps for dinner. The best restaurant by far that I have been too recently in this area!
