We went there yesterday evening with a group of 21!! people. Very professionly organised. They called me back earlier the day to re-confirm the reservation and the final number of people attending. All had already been nicely set up on arrival. They serve simple, authentic and very tasteful iranian food in really astonishing quantities.

The starters and the the main course were served in a very timely manner considering the large group beside the Restaurant being very busy with people queueing on the street. The food is absolutely delicous with flavours you will hardly find elsewhere.

The restaurant is the living proof that you don't have to lose an arm and a leg to get a decent dinner in London. Thank you very much people from Behesht!!

This place is great for fine persian food in London. Parking is a bit of a problem and service is not always great however it also depends where you are seated.

The food is delicious although can take a while to arrive when they are very busy which is most of the time therefore I recommend you book in advance if you want to go there. The food is good value for money and very flavoursome. Highly recommended.

I would love to tell you don't go there, it's a bad place, only reason i would do such a thing is thats more and more people are finding out about my little gem. therefore it is becoming harder and harder to get a seat here. food is the best, price can't be beat and they even have a parrot.

As others have said service is slow, can't blame them though being a cook myself, great food takes time to cook.

Iranians know how to grill meat to perfection and that's exactly what they do here - perfect kebabs and grills, huge portions, and all very reasonably priced.

The service is fine, very accomodating to families, and although some of the younger lads serving have a bit of a swagger about them, it's amusing more than annoying in my opinion. They are consistently rammed packed in the evenings, so you will need to book. Great faluda for desert too, best I have had anywhere. Go.

Its a brilliant restaurant, with a great management, nice food, great atmosphere and good price for the amount of food you get. The Iranian restaurant in UK, I think they're even competing with foreign restaurants and not just Iranians.

For many years, Aloonak was the only Persian restaurant in London that served proper Iranian style kabab. All others (and I have been to most of them) are just rubbish. UNTIL, Behesht came along.

Food is easily the best Persian in London and comparable with the big names in Iran like Alborz and Nayeb, altough it is a bit greasy. My cousin from Iran visited me about a year ago and I took him there. He is 24 and it was the first time he had left Iran. He told me that Behesht would easily make the top 10 if it was in Tehran.

Atmosphere, well, they certainly has a great idea (the traditional look), but perhaps got a little carried away and over did it. So now, parts of the restaurant look like a zoo!!! But I still think it is by far the best in London

recently, we ordered about 300 meals from them to be delivered to a town 2 hrs north of London for a ceremony, and I can tell you, they did not dissapoint.

I just have one question for them. How do they make any money, charging so little for such large portions of food?

The food was amazing and well priced but service was terrible. Decor was tacky and overwhelming and music even worse.

I must say this is my absolutely my favourite restaurant. I am visiting this place on average every 3 weeks and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and the atmosphere fantastic. It is usually extremely busy so I really advise you to book a table before you go, otherwise you may be waiting for about an hour for a table. It is not located in the nicest area but the food and general experience is well worth it the hassle. It is also a great value for money and the portions are huge. If you have never tried a Persian cuisine before, than that is the place to go. You will love it.

I have been in Behesht resturant with my family. I have ordered mince kebab. This kind of kebab is my favorite food and I like the kebab be completely cooked, not chewy and not taste of fat.

In Behesht, the mince kebab was exactly as I like. It has taste of nice lamb, no fat,

and well cooked and very tender.

There was 2 Kebab with tomato and lots of rice. The rice was very good prepared as it should be in Irannian cooking style with enough Safran.

I really enjoyed the food. The price was very good and I recommend this restuarant to any body who really likes kebab, especially mince kebab.

The atmosphere is very traditional, for me it was a little bit dark, but comfortable.
