We came here on 30th December for lunch - my sister was very excited to stumble across this as she loves going to Bills in Brighton when she comes to visit me. The decor is lovely, very similar to the Brighton store but without any fruit or veg. It wasn't very busy but I guess this is because it hasn't established itself yet and, once word gets around, it will be much better once there's a real buzz here with lots of people.
Instead of going for my usual favourites of Eggs Benedict or Veggie Breakfast (real big hits in our household at the Brighton branch!), I chose the Bubble and Squeak with Ham, Fried Eggs and Hollandaise Sauce and my sister chose the Eggs Royale.
We weren't in a hurry but did notice at least a couple of tables who came in after us got their food first. My Bubble and Squeak was delicious - lovely combinations. My sister's Eggs Royale was almost perfect... the poached eggs were ice-cold (I suspect they pre-cook them and put them on ice then plunge into boiling water to serve but had forgotten to do the last bit). The dish was taken away with great apologies and a new one was cooked - my sister said it tasted great. They also offered to take my dish away and cook me a new one so we could eat at the same time but there was no way I was letting mine go!
I would definitely recommend Bills to anyone!

After seeing a good review we decided to check Bill's out as we were in the Covent Garden area. It's tucked slightly back in St Martin's Court so you will not just fall upon it. Hunting it down is worth the effort as this cafe-deli is a real treat.
An entertaining mix of old fashioned tables, school chairs and storage racks crossed with modern industrial heating ducts, a wrought iron staircase and many other features gives this establishment a different feel from your normal cafe.
Excellent garlic bread (with character). A delicious BLT and skin-on chips, (Oh,
what a joy to taste propper chips)! The tea comes out in a big red enamel pot -
nice touch. A great experience with friendly attentive staff and warm atmosphere .
