I took advantage of the London-eating/toptable 50% off your bill offer and was quite surprised to find that they offer ran over the weekend as well! Went with my family of 5 (including me) on a Sunday evening and it was comfortably quiet with only 2 other tables of customers.

The service upon arriving was friendly unfortunately however the waitress who served is was clearly quite new and had to resort to keep calling upon another waiter to answer questions we had about particular dishes. Aside from this small point I believe we were treated well :)

We ordered the mixed hor d'ouerves and the mixed grill platters for starters and I was quite happy to see that they weren't shy with piling the food high! The taste of the various different meats were spiced with care and delicacy (can't remember all the starters but the sheesh kebab, tiger prawns and tikka chicken stood out to me as juicy and flavoursome).

For mains we went for 5 different curries, again the names I have forgotten but a variety of lamb, prawn, chicken and fish masalas and curries were ordered. I felt the quality of the food was of a high standard however my mum felt it was average compared to other tandooris she has tried. She didn't feel it was bad at all but a bit bland. Just to reemphasise, I disagreed with her ;). We had an assortment of naans and breads as well as 2 bowls of rice - all in ample portions and very evidentally cooked fresh rather than reheated. All in all 4 of the 5 family members left with full bellies and grins on our faces.

Price-wise I was blown away by the final bill after the generous discount. At £12 a head including drinks for such a generous amount of food and at such a level of quality - an absolute steal!

Now, without the offer... I think i would come back but some of the prices did appear to be a little over inflated (£3 for a bowl plain rice...) which does put me off a bit. I would suggest to the management if they are reading to relook at their pricing once the offer has finished to keep customers coming back for more.

lovely place...great ambience and stunning food with very fresh taste. Friendly and helpful staff..
