I have been eating at Food Filosophy almost daily for about a year now since my office moved to the area.
The advantage of eating here that makes it unique is that it offers freshly cooked, quality Mediterranean/Greek food on the premises (like a restaurant) but at reasonable prices and with a takeaway option. It is a much healthier and varied choice compared to sandwich bars and other cafes. The food reminds me of home cooked, family meals. I was born in Greece and can appreciate the good quality olive oil that is being used in cooking as well as the full meal flavours.
The atmosphere is great and the owner Margarita greets the regular customers by name and everyone else with warmth.
I would strongly recommend everyone to give it a try!

This is just round the corner from my office so I have tried lunch a few times.
The food is pretty good - varied and fresh and tasty. However their pricing is too expensive and the service leaves much to be desired.
I was staggered to be charged £8.95 for a small take away salad box. They actually charged me £9.95 in error but they corrected it on my return - sadly for the last time.
Rather than charging a single price for a box - with as much in it as you want, they charge on a per salad basis - with the portion for each salad getting smaller the more salads you have - obviously - as they need to fit it in the box. And because I had chosen four different types of salad, the price went up with each one.
I tried to explain that £8.95 for a small box of salad is crazy - but they were having none of it. In fact the manager/owner was pretty rude.
A shame because the food is ok. However, with so much choice in this neighbourhood - I will be voting with my feet.

A great spot for lunching or catching a great cup of coffee just a few steps away from the hussle and bussle of the west end's shopping streets. Also great for week end breakfast. Margarita's cooking is light varied and... delicious! The best of the mediterranean, not to mention she makes a wicked cup of coffee and if that is not your thing try her fresh herbal teas (no teabags!). Don't forget to pick up some olive oil on the way out.
