Very good small restaurant, a must on my visit to London, Every second time it is busy and we have to turn around but it is worth trying. Perfect service, delicious food, very reasonably priced, nice atmosphere.Every time when I'm there, I think of how could this gem of food business be situated in a strict brick sombre place. Still unbeaten.

Ate here on Saturday night and was greeted by a genuinely warm charming young lady, which surprisingly is seldom found in London restaurants today. Despite the “early bird” menu for £10 being extremely good value my wife and I opted to dine from the standard menu because of the attractive dishes on offer that night. We were given appropriate time to order and the service was consistently attentive. Well priced food, cooked to a high standard is the main reason why I will be returning to Terra because as you may be aware you can pay a lot more than these modest prices and receive a dish of far less quality. The atmosphere was traditional in keeping with the menu providing a relaxed and pleasant way to begin our evening. Terra is a little gem of a place and does well to steer clear of the pretentious trend sweeping the restaurant business. A pleasure to dine with!

We had an early meal at Terra and as it was my birthday, there were balloons and decorations on the table to make us feel welcome. The service was superb; our waitress was called Tania and she was very friendly and happy to make recommendations when we asked.

The Mediterrannean-style food was simple, great value and delicious and I could have tried anything on the menu (if I had the time and a larger stomach!)

When it came to pudding, I was presented with a complimentary slice of cake with a candle in for my birthday which was a nice touch. The staff were also more than willing to order us a taxi and help us to work out where we needed to go to get to the theatre on time.

Overall, the atmosphere in Terra was great and very friendly. The décor was warm and relaxed and it was a really enjoyable meal. The food came quickly, piping hot and overall it was well worth the visit and we'd go back again - and choose it over many other restaurants we've visited - any time. If you like small restaurants with character, food that isn't over-complicated and staff who are warm (and genuinely happy to be there), helpful and don't try and up-sell to you, I'd recommend it.

this place is a perfect small cosy venue for any occasion! i went there last week with some friends for my birthday : the service was impeccable , the waiter actually spent time with us suggesting us which wine to choose and the peculiarity of each one even if the floor was a bit busy, and at the end it was the perfect choice . the food was incredibly good and well presented ,each of my friends was literally in ecstasy and i was extremely happy about everything!

I told them it was my b-day, so they arranged the table with balloons and they brought me a marvelous dessert at the end of the dinner singing me a song .

this place is absolutely 10 out of 10 for food and service.

unfortunately the atmosphere was a bit poor, they should renew it and create something more fresh ,but i didn't really mind though

i sincerely recommend this place if you want some great food,a laid back atmosphere and a very cheap bill

I would never have known this restaurant even existed let alone booked up to go, had it not been for the marvellous reviews here on London-Eating. However, after visiting Terra last night I can say it certainly is not Michelin starred fine dining but it is a restaurant serving a very delicious fusion of home-made Spanish, Italian and Greek food.

There is a large choice of starters and mains to choose from ranging from fish, meat on skewers, pasta and rice. I had mussels to start (exceptional, definitely recommend) and for main a prawn and asparagus paella – also very tasty. My girlfriend had goat’s cheese starter and linguine for main – she also enjoyed hers.

The two ladies that served us were very lovely and we didn’t have to ask for anything or require where our food was. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy but there was a nice ambience about the place which created a pleasant atmosphere, but not great.

The one thing about this restaurant is that it is very reasonable. The bill came to £46.00 with a couple of gin & tonics and a couple beers although we didn’t have a pudding. There are numerous tourist traps in the west-end where the quality of food is not nearly the same but you will pay maybe £20 more.

I would definitely return but would visit if I was in the area rather than book up especially.

The reason this restaurant is so heavily reviewed and is in and amongst restaurants of the calibre of ‘Petrus’ , 68 Hospital Road’ et al is because at the bottom of the bill receipt you are asked to put your review on London-Eating.

I went to Terra on Saturday night (my 2nd visit here) with my lovely boyfriend and his siblings and their partners (8 of us in total). We sat downstairs on one long table which was very comfy & cosy. It was great to be able to chat to everyone without overpowering background music. Food, service and staff all excellent. I had mussels to start which were delicious and loads of them! Then seafood paella for main course which was delicious again. I decided to try the 'Jelly Fish' shot (Sambuca & Baileys) and it was sooo yummy that I had another 2 (over a space of time of course!). All in all a very enjoyable evening!

Ate there for the first time last night with two friends. We were going to have the set menu, but like a previous reviewer, we changed our minds after seeing the full menu. The portions were generous, and we were all happy with our choices. With 1 starter, 3 main courses and 2 desserts to share, the bill only came up to £41.

The atmosphere was very relaxed: great for a chat. We never felt rushed. Staff was friendly and unobtrusive: filled up our jug of water without us having to ask.

I'd definitely eat there again.
