Haven't been to Nawab's for several years but always remembered it as a great place to eat. Due to a last minute change of plans we switched to Nawab's for my wife's birthday last week. What an inspired move! The place was fairly quite, despite being a Sat night, however, that was fine with us as we could make as much noise as we liked (there were five of us)! The service was spot on - attentive, friendly and quick. However, it was the food that really impressed - probably the best mix grill I have had in a long time and the chicken dupiza was so good, we ordered another one! For people with a big appetite the porportions may seen a bit on the small side, however that is more than made up by the quaility of the food.
We even recieved a small discount of the bill as a birthday present!
Highly recommended on all fronts.

My girlfriend and I have lived around the corner from the Nawab since April 2007 and have been eating their food regularly (ordering takeaways almost every week sometimes twice!) ever since. Their meals are delicious and the service is second to none. The traditional meals such as Bhuna and Madras are wonderful, and so are dishes that I have not come across before, such as the Rhosun, which uses a delightful garam masalla and the Agni (which includes a touch of Brandy). Their thick red sauce for the poppadoms is also blinding! I would recommend it to anyone - takeaway or eating inside the restaurant. Inside it is charming, cosy and has a very friendly atmoshpere. Everyone who works there is polite, friendly, professional and super efficient. Top marks all round, Nawab - thank you!

All i can say is "YES..!!"
Taste of Nawab is up and running again!
The great food and service they provided is now again in action!
The restaurant had been done up beautifully, and the atmosphere is so soothing, I went in for a meal with a couple of friends last friday and all I can say is the great food they served before is still the same great stuff, but with even better tasting food!
The restaurant is open 7days a week, starting at 5.30 and ending late for both dining in and takeaways, i would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a good decent curry!

Taste of Nawab is one of my top favourite restaurants out of London, it has great tasting quality food and the service is superb. The staff are very helpful and it has a wonderful friendly atmosphere. I was very upset when I found out that the Taste of Nawab restaurant was no more as I had heard it had closed down...But after I visited the area i realised that they were still in business (but only doing take aways), they had moved 2 doors down to 97 Colney Hatch Lane, seeing this I was happy and then I also found out that they were refurbishing their place and now they will have a new restaurant in 97 Colney Hatch Lane, which basically means everyone can enjoy their brilliant food again!!

Sadly, Taste of Nawab is no longer. The restaurant has been closed-up for the last few months which is a great shame for the staff and many happy customers.
