from the outside it looks like a jewel in purley however inside its not what you expect in any Italian restaurant, the menu looks so good that you want to try every single dish , we were table of 3 on saturday night , ordered Stuffed mushroom with cheese , awfuly breadcrumbed mushroom and raw mushroom inside and block of bleu cheese, king prawns in tomoto sauce on soggy salad , mussels in cold cream sauce. Main courses, auwful liver, steak medium was ok , risotto,!!!! thats so not italian.

am really sorry for the people of purley they really need a proper an Italian eatery.

I do not want to go on about the service nor the clown of the owner whom his presence is more intimidating than welcoming ,, oh good anyone nowadays is able to open a restaurant .... shocking experience.

Was also tempted by the 2 for £10. The pizzas were at best bland at worst chewy and with dried out veg toppings, sparse on the sauce and cheese.

The pasta we were told was fresh but tasted as if it were out of a packet. Salad limp lettuce, overpowering dressing.

Service we were the only table in the restaurant on a Saturday evening and the oriental waitress failed to smile at us even once. Drinks warm and flat and small glasses at over £2 a drink!

The best thing in our meal was the garlic bread with cheese.

A shame that this local restaurant is such a miss as Purley needs something soulful. Pizza Express was heaving!

Awful pizza. I had lunch here with my daughter as The offer "2 pizza for 10 pounds" tempted me too much.

The waitresses were friendly but the food was really bad.

On our pizzas they have used cheap and nasty orange cheese slices and some bits of mozzarella scattered scarcely here and there, probably thinking that nobody would ever guess the "secret ingredient". The other toppings didnt look or taste any better. I would have been happier if I have spent an extra 10 pounds and gone to pizza express next door.

Went there on friday night, i loved the new menu, especially the mussels off shells,

Had a stuffed halibut on a bed of saffron risotto, the creme brulee was the best.

staff were efficient, will be back.
