Normally I complain in restaurants, not here! I went on Friday night with the girlfriend for a nice meal at 8. The service was amazing, we were asked if we were enjoying the mean twice and even if the wine was cold enough. The service was honest and caring. We even got 2 complimentry shots of lemonchello. The wine was really good for a London resturant, £20 for the average bottle and they did glasses and half bottles. (I recomend the White corvo).

The food! What portions. I love my food, my appetite is large and I was full after the mains! They are large, seriously, share a starter and save room for a shared desert! This is offered openly by the house so there's no need for the embarassing 2 spoons please at the end of the meal. By the way the calimarie is enormus if you got so be prepared if you order it, it could feed two people! For the pastas just get a salad, the sauces and pasta are so rich it is good to have a side salad (£3) and it can easily be shared by two people comfortably.

Now the last thing, the price, £70 for the two of us including a bottle of wine is an expensive meal, £25 a head plus alchol. Worth every penny. The staff, the food, the cosy but spacious pretty little Italian resturant makes this place an ideal outing fir couples or small groups of friends!

If you want a bigger group there is an upstairs which holds more people.

This resturant is a top London resturant.

Used to use this place a few years ago and loved it but it went down hill, walking past last week I noticed a great makeover so we tried it again.

I am happy to say the new owners have restored it to its former glory and it was just great.

The food is hearty and top notch. The staff are some of the most friendly I have come across in years.

Once again I hope to be a regular. Very nice.

i work on the next block down tottenham court road. a convenient location for us and surprisingly fine dining venue. i dine there regularly with colleagues, suppliers and clients. very enjoyable pastas, great meat dishes, so so wine selections - but doesn't matter much at lunchtime on a work day.

staff and management are wonderful people. their meals are honest, filling and tasty.
