Dish Dash

I really enjoy this place and go quite often but the service and value for money isn't always top notch. The waiting staff, although friendly and well-meaning, can be a little incompetent at times. You can get forgotten about, sometimes you'll have no cutlery when the food arrives, and sometimes you don't get the little complementary sauces. Other times, it goes perfectly.

The food is always delicious, however the last time I had the haloumi kebabs, they had hardly any haloumi on them. I left hungry because of it. That aside though, the chicken wings are fantastic, as are the fish and lamb kebabs. There is a tomato and aubergine stew that tastes delicious too. The humous could be better, tastes like a supermarket one so a bit bland, but no worse, but a bit of a worry since its not exactly hard to make.

Delicious food, excellent service!

We ate here for Mothers' Day lunch today, and would absolutely recommend it! A wide range of dishes, pleasant, attentive staff (not too attentive either though!!) and a relaxed atmosphere. The food was really good, especially the joojeh kebab and the koobideh kebab. Also really enjoyed the mazza.

As a regular visitor to Dish Dash, i have to say whether i have been in a large group or just with a couple of friends - the food and service have been excellent.

Staff are VERY helpful and always keen to offer help when ordering.The staff are extremely friendly and hard working.

Cocktails, especially Mojitos always well mixed, great wines - even the ones on offer on Mondays.

Definately the best restaurant in Balham and well worth a visit :)

I have been coming to Dish Dash in Balham for many years as I live locally - and have always found it a great place to eat and drink the night away. Seeing some of the reviews on here - I had to add my own.

The food at Dish Dash is always delicious - really well done and great flavours. The cocktails are fantastic - some really different options on the menu - and I've never had a bad bottle of wine from the wine list. Plus the service, in my experience, has been really good - the staff are very accomodating. I've been in several times with large parties, even when the restaurant was busy, and the service was still spot on.

I really would recommend a visit whenver you're in this part of South London
