Awesome and Interesting..

Went to Dish dash with colleagues after being recommended by a friend and I wasn't disappointed .Nice welcome at the entrance by Chris, I think that's his name and staff were extremely nice and always with a smile.

The atmosphere was great and the food was like nothing I ever tried before.

Food was on time so as the drinks and service was spot on.

All in all, I would go back back to Dish dash to enjoy the great food and fantastic ambiance.

Love DishDash!

Really great food at reasonable prices. But what made my evening even more enjoyable was the genuinely warm & honest personal service I recieved from the staff.

I really appreciate it when staff are able to do their best in a professional capacity & are also sincerely friendly & personable.

From my personal experience, the customer really does always come first at DishDash :)

We tried Dish Dash tonight. The food was awful. The only things Persian are the music and the name of the foods in the menu.

THIS IS NOT A PERSIAN RESTAURANT. How they can call themselves a Persian restaurant and offer rubbish food in the name of Persian food is not acceptable. The Kobideh is more like a sausage than a persian kebab. The Jojeh (chicken) is supposed to be prepared with saffron.

I asked if the chef is Persian and was told he is in fact Brazilian.

If you wish to taste genuine persian cuisine, try a "real" Persian restaurant and not Dish Dash.

I first visited November 2010 on a busy Saturday night where we were put on a table near the door and felt a bit packed in. The starter and meal arrived both at the same time an hour later. The food was ok but nothing special. Me and my girlfriend put it down to bad luck and decided to risk going agin in Jan (for my birthday) on a Thursday instead, in the hope it would be quiet.

We arrived early, however got a poor table and asked to wait for a better table. It took 10 mins to make a table in the waiting area and then a futher 5mins to take our drink order. People came in later and seemed to be getting better tables (without booking) and served before us.

We choose a mixture of dishes, however again took an hour for our main meal to which wasn't our order (3 dishes wrong), we thought would be hard to get wrong since they mark it on the paper menu with your table number.

The waiter who served our meal was very unproffesional and even asked the table next to us "if they thought anything on the tray could be their order". 1 more dish did come, however the final 2 did not and the waiter seemed more intrested in clearing our table than where the final dishes were. After 20mins I was so frustrated I walked over to a waiter and asked to cancel the remaing dishes and have the bill so we could leave. The bill came immediately and asked for service charge to be removed, in which a waitress said she would have to check with the manager. The female waitress did remove the service charge but was really expecting more, and then she politely asked what went wrong. I did feel it was too little too late at this stage.

In both cases I feel the staff levels couldn't cope. I would definitely not recomened Dish Dash and there are far better restaurants near by. I won't risk returning again.

What happened? Dish Dash used to be great. Something has happened. Service is lacking more recently. Felt rushed and hounded by staff the momenti walked. After telling waitress I was waiting on someone And would wait before ordering anything , she came back 3 times to ask me for a drink. Food took ages. Staff didn't same happy to be there. It's just lost it's shine in my eyes. Sort it out Dish Dash.

Me and my husband eat here pretty much every week and are never dissapointed! We hadn't been for a few weeks but last Sunday I was happy to see the pleasant young waitress remembering us and our usuals. The service is always pleasant and attentive (but not ott like some places can be). Food is excellent and comes up fast even when the place is packed! The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, perfect for an evening out. I highly recommend a visit!

Food really nice (though we had to send something back as it was undercooked) though I wouldn't be going back here again as we found the service was rubbish. Our starters (two cold mezze and some nan bread) took 40 minutes to turn up!!! We asked where the food was as we were in a bit of a hurry to get a train, it was then that we were told that there was a problem with the oven. Really should have been told this when we turned up, and certainly should'nt have had to ask! The waitress was friendly, but not gracious or apologetic about the wait. Everything took so long I ended up not enjoying the meal as I was anxious about missing the train. I also resent paying 12.5% service when the service wasn't great, plus I actually think that given the long long wait for our food we should've had something knocked off the price. I would have asked, but we didn't have time. I won't be returning, and I won't recommend it.

This place is great. Have eaten in dish dash many times, food and wine are good, cocktails are great. Service is very attentive and the staff don't forget about you after your food has come ( unlike some other places in balham). Friendly atmosphere, and not over priced. Can smoke shisha outside, and the odd time there's a belly dancer. Would invite anyone who enjoys eating out to give it a go. Relaxing week nights and a lively buzz on weekends. £5 btl of on Sundays and Monday which is great.

Ate here for my 21st birthday, food was AMAZING and atmosphere was lovely. Chose a bottle of wine that we didnt like so sent it back with no fuss and got another one. Perfect for a relaxed evening with good quality food.
