Kipling's Tandoori

I have been there for a meal as it was recommended by a friend and i pass it often and wondered why it was usually empty.

Its very smart and the tables are very well set out with gleaming white linen.

Its a pity that its not more popular locally as eating on ones own in an empty restaurant does nothing for the ambiance.

True there is nothing wrong with this place, the food is tasty, reasonable portions and reasonable prices. But it deserves more clientel eating there to improve the ambiance.

The only drawback on our visit was that the young locally grown waiter gave us the impression that he would be out burning tyres on a hotted up Ford Escort on his days off. It was certainly not the effusive service you usually get from staff flown in from Bangladesh!

Kipling’s is one of the best Indian restaurants in London. I love the food, it’s simply irresistible.

The service is excellent and the manger Atik, I have known him for a long time, he is a fantastic guy, very caring and polite. I love going there and will soon go there again.

As I m a restaurant freak.I always try out different reataurants.When its comes to Kiplings this was too good then what i have expected.This is one of my favourate restaurant.The food was really awesome and I think that i shouldn't say much,the only thing i can say is everybody should try out this restaurant.,then u will know.

I've visited many of London's Indian restaurants over the years and few come close to the standards of "Kipling's Tandoori". Despite a large and varied menu, the food was well prepared, fresh, and prompt. The service was certainly amongst the very best I've experienced. I have no reservations recommending this restaurant to anybody looking for a good quality, reasonably priced meal.

After reading the comments on this site i thought of visiting the restaurant and im glad i did read it the comments. I found the food delicious and the staffs were wonderful . i will be going back there often with friends and family.

Kiplings is one of the best Indian restaurants ever. The food is not "Portes des Indes", just great, fresh, authentic food at reasonable prices. Staff are brilliant, always look after you well. I have lived in London, Sheffield and Birmingham and no like for like place beats it.

I have been going to Kipling's now for many years and find the whole expereince great. With the delicious tasting food and very helpful and witty staff its a great place to go and meet friends and have a tasty meal too.

We had Kipling's take out and it was excellent. I was a bit sceptical at first due to the fact there was not a single customer in there. However it was good quality well prepared food at decent prices.

Kipling's has great food especially the Tandoori King Prawn Jalfrezi it soooo tasty,the service is great,the waitors are so proffesional and know what they doing alway's treating customers nicely,I've been to this Restaraunt so many times and keep going back for more.
