I have just left the ebury on Sunday early afternoon with my boyfriend who lives in the area and was pleasantly surprised at how well were looked after. Food was amazing and the attention payed to us as soons as we walked in the door was so welcoming. We didn't have a booking and were glad to just walk in at 12:30 pm as we were told that the restaurant was fully booked at 2pm . There was a smooth Sunday atmosphere and we snuck in a glimpse of the sunday papers by the burning fire at the back of the bar area before we decided to order lunch. Roast beef was cooked perfectly and we had bloody marys that were divine. We were also told that live jazz that would be playing on the weekekend and could hear it from where we were sitting due to a private party that was in full flow above us. As we payed and left the place was in full flow and it makes me wonder why people don't go out for lunch earlier when places are more relaxed rather than dining at the same time as everyone else. Why get on the tube during rush hour and have delays with everyone else when you can go off peak and be treated like kings and queens. We will definately be back.

Sooo disappointed! Went for a bday dinner with family from overseas. What started off as a fun night in the brasserie downstairs ended up a total disappointment when moving upstairs for the Jazz supper. Waited 1 hours for our orders to be taken (after I went to the bar and requested a winelist and service!). Food was cold once delivered to the table and sides were forgotten. We were delivered 2 sets of mains?? And 3 out of the 4 ordered coffees! Waiters were totally indifferent and they were not even busy. Maybe people have realised the below par service! I will definitely not be going back for dinner or recommend!

I went on Saturday night with my girlfriend. We were a little worried having read some bad reviews but decided to find out for ourselves. I cannot tell you how suprised we were. The food was incredible. The seafood tortellinni was one of the best starters I have ever had whilst my girlfriend braved the grilled duck hearts and enjoyed them thoroghly. The main courses (confit lamb and Gilthead Bream) continued in the same league. The puddings were also delicous and the wine list good value too. Will definately go again very soon.

Just been to the Ebury for lunch with friends. My guinea fowl was great but my friends were not impressed with their lamb Sunday roasts. (Wich they had because the restaurant had run out of beef).

When the meals finally came, (they were slow to get our order, and then slow to bring it) the waiter slammed the plates down onto the table with such force that what litle gravy was on the plate spilt onto my husbands trousers. The waiter didn't apologised, but offered him a clean plate (?!).

We recieved the same service with drinks with the same waiter spilling beer all over the table.

My side order of vegetables came just as I was finishing the meal. Terrible, terrible service all round, and I can only assume that they're used to complaints because they didn't question it when we asked them to remove the discretionary service charge. - Even with this charge removed, the bill came to a hundred pounds for only one course and two drinks each.

Won't be going back. Such a shame as it has great potential.

I have eaten at the Ebury a few times in the last few weeks as I have just moved around the corner. I cannot recommend it highly enough. My boyfriend has a few dietary restrictions and the chef cooked special food for him. In fact all the food is fantastic, simple but really tasty. It is not too expensive for the quality of food that you get. The service is pretty friendly and I love the atmosphere.

It wil certainly be my local . Well done guys keep up the good work.

Totally agree with the previous comment, poor customer service and I would add overpriced.

We went there for a girly night out to get some drinks at the bar to have to wait 35 mn to get served, we wondered if we were going to stay for dinner but regretably we did. Some items were missing from the menu and food was overall tasteless, they even forgot our sides!!!!

Nice spot in Pimlico though, too bad it is so badly run

Not recommended at all, they are so many better places in town.

We were there last Sunday, what a fantastic place to have roast.

The service is friendly, the portions generous and the classical music played ads

to the relaxing experience. A must.

Had lunch with my wife on Thursday, it was fab! Lovely creamy oysters followed by calves liver cooked just so. Staff were all lovely and made a fuss of my wife as it was her birthday. She took a particular fancy to the French manager who spoiled her with a glass of champagne!

FANTASTIC....great buzz downstairs in the bar. Normally we enjoy lunch in the brasserie which never disappoints, but on this opccasion we had dinner in the clubroom on the first floor. Fabulous live jazz all night long - great food and service (not seen Crepes Suzette flambeed at the table in years). Great value too.

I woule not hesitate to recommend The Ebury for the best fun night out..
