4th Sept meeting we reserved table to have brunch with friends at the Ebury, appeared nice, good atmosphere and music. Unfortunatley twice our waitress had to change the order as 3 of the 6 mains were no longer on offer which she didnt know when taking our order. This was at about 2.30 afternoon. There were enough visible table staff but they told us the kitchen was busy and thus we waited hour and a half for our mains. We agreed to pay our nice starters and drinks and left hungry and frustrated. Not a great experience and music too loud.

I went with my boyfriend and our 2 friends, sort of a double date last Friday and we were pleasantly met by friendly staff at the door and immediately felt like we were special customers, given a warm welcome, walked to our seats etc...

The staff were all very attentive and i must say since the original owners have taken the place back, the emphasis is definately on good friendly service, i hate waiting so thumbs up to the Ebury for getting it spot on!

Three of us went for the steak and it didn't diappoint, they add bone marrow with it - which literally is a piece of bone with the marrow in it, with a teaspoon! very different, although the response to taste was varied i loved the idea and have never seen it before (i liked the taste!)

....and as much as we couldnt fit in a dessert i had to try their chocolate mousse... you HAVE to try this....it took me back to childhood when my parents put banana's on the bbq filled it with chocolate buttons... so we all dived in and it was gone in record time!

We were the last to leave which i'd say is a good sign and will definately be back for more.

I visited The Ebury on Friday evening with a group of friends. The bar was lively on arrival and had a great atmosphere. We sat down to eat at 9pm and were served promptly and the food was delicious.

I will definitely be returning and will be taking advantage of the discount on London Eating!

Was taken to the Ebury for dinner and apart from the choice on the menu being poor, the service was even worse. We sat down for dinner at 8.30, had a glass of wine. We then decided to have a bottle of wine with the meal which after having to chase the order, arrived towards the end of the meal. When we were ready to order the dessert, we waited to be served and when the waitress finally decided to come to our table it was to ask us if we wanted a coffee and told us that the kitchen was closed and couldn't order any more food. Appalling service and definitely will not be returning.

Attracted by 30% off a la carte prices we paid our first visit last night and are pleased we did. I must, however, highlight the awkward and inconvenient leather banquettes which are almost unavoidable if there's more than two of you. We missed out when other diners realised their mistake and quickly abandoned the banquettes for the only table in the place with more than two chairs.

I regard this as a significant drawback, but otherwise we found the atmosphere lively but not too noisy, the service unobtrusive but efficient and the food of a high standard at every stage of the meal to match central London prices.

I recommend The Ebury and certainly hope to return, but may have to shed a guest or two in order to make sure we get a table with chairs.

My partner went on Saturday evening. Now we are both used to fine dining and expected this to be more bar/bistro food. How wrong we were. The food, the service and everything was top notch!

The wine was fantastic, a TRUE french rose. The steak was to die for.

Go there - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Last night I decided to meet my girlfriend which i haven't seen for ages at the Ebury. I was told what a great place it was and thought to see what was all the fuss about.

First impression was great, the bar was buzzy for a wednesday night, and enjoyed some mojitos before seating down for dinner; It was nice to choose from a variety of mojitos.

Dinner was lovely, the staff was attentive to all our needs, The Italian waitress was bubbly and full of recommendations. The food was fantastic, great flavours and colours.

I was quite amazed how busy the place was for a mid week evening and will definetly comeback with more friends.

I often visit my friend in Pimlico and we love to share a nice glass of wine and excellent food to catch up and relax. We have tried many other restaurants in the area but we always find ourselves coming back to The Ebury. We love the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, we've never been disappointed with the food and the service is spot on. If you ever are around the Pimlico area I would definitely recommend The Ebury.

Dreadful. We did not even get as far as the table. Granted, we were walk-ins, looking for a table on the off-chance, and hoping that we might get one given that the restaurant was half empty. The maitre d' told us that we would have to wait for half an hour. Perplexed, we dutifully waited in the bar. After 20 minutes, the restaurant was even emptier; I asked the maitre d' whether we could perhaps take one of the empty tables. With a fabulous little finger wag at approximately chin level, the maitre d' said: "I told you: nine o'clock." Which was perfectly true. And perfectly rude. We left. The bar staff were charming and seemed rather embarrassed at the way we had been treated. Avoid like the plague.

Delicious starter of wild mushroom quiche was marred by a long wait for the main course when the food arrived barely warm. Too few staff to give attentiveness, very loud environment to make normal conversation almost inaudible and being seated on the bench seating made for a very uncomfortable eating position; the seat is much too low, plus the incovenience of very restricted access. Five of us had to slide out to allow fellow diners access to the wc. Our party of eleven had an enjoyable experience overall and the somewhat overworked staff were extremely polite and friendly.
