Just been there for lunch ......

Food very nice , BUT the service was dreadful , slow slow slow , and it wasn't even busy , would think twice about going there again for this reason , staff very indifferent .

Food was great - service was off.

Starter was Cheese course (yes, was desert course, but I'm non-traditional), main was Spiced Pork Belly. Cheeses were excellent and just the right amount even if everyone received and finished their starters before I received my cheese. The Pork was well presented, had a very nice piquant tang to it, and moist on the inside, cripsy on the outside.

Wines were Montagny (white) and Rully (red) - both very nice and complimented the food very well.

From the other reviews, it sounds like we were there on an "off" night for the service staff - one staff member seemed just plain confused whenever they came out with food or drink as to its destination. Twice I was presented with a glass of wine I didn't order. At the end, we paid in cash and know we were due £10 back - however the change was £4.50 - when we pointed this out, they handed us the £10 and took £2 back leaving us with £12. I handed the extra £2 to the manager (or what seemed like the manager) and he seemed quite indifferent to it all. Actually kind of weird.

All in all, it was a decent experience and we would try again in the future b/c the food was tip-top. Great for people watching too.

Yet again disappointed by another Pimlico 'emporer's new clothes' dining experience. The setting promises much - but fails to satisfy. The menu sounded great but all the food was overcooked, the risotto was too sloppy and lacked any consistency, my bream was dry, the green beans were soggy and drying out in the bowl. The staff were efficient to the point of rudeness and apparently the mens loos weren't very clean. The rose wine however was superb. Maybe our faces didn't fit.... Won't be going there again then. Excellent food and service. Shame our evening was ruined by the very rude, unprofessional manageress who was very condescending and grumpy. Would definite;y go back if not for her.

Everyone was pleasant and attentive from the lady at the reservation desk, to bar staff.

Our waiter (Diego) was awesome!

Although, something has to be said for the Manageress, either she had a bad day or is not getting any, but she sure made us feel uncomfortable.

We had the seafood tortellini and the pumpkin risotto which was truly delicious, as was the lamb.

I do wish the wine list included a few more choices of Merlot, but after a few glasses of Rioja, and some divine chocolate pudding…I think Tony Blair said it best…“bothered”…
