Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Went here after booking and specifically mentioning we had a discount card. We checked with our waiter what the discount card entitled us and he said "2for1 on everything". I said we had ordered 6 popadoms so did that mean we had to order another type of starter. He said no as he will just charge us for 3. After our poppadoms we ordered our mains and made sure we ordered "2 for 1 on everything". As we were just 3 women in the party we couldn't finish so asked for it to be taken away. When the bill came, the restaurant had charged us on everything but for 3 poppadoms and 1 main. We spoken to our waiter who then said "yes 2 for 4 on everything means starters, mains and dessert only". He also said as we were only a party of 3 he couldnt give us more than 1 main meal off but if we had 4 in the party, we could. He then went to fetch a laminated sheet with the terms and conditions. It was awful! We felt so pressured and conned, forced to order more under false information. I truly believe that if we were 3 men he wouldnt have dared try that stunt. At one point he accused us of lying and saying he couldnt see our booking on the system where we had mentioned the discount card. At which point we were asked specifically to prove we had a booking! Luckily we stood our ground and refused to pay for the part that we were told wouldnt be charged. If the food was out of this world I would say try at your peril but there are so many curry houses on the high street. Seriously dont bother.
