Quality food. Have to strongly disagree with previous reviews, this place is considerably better than any kebabish or mobeen. The food is of a different quality and taste and when it comes to their catered food at weddings it is unrivalled.
If you want tasty authentic food and don't mind the fact that you won't get a silver service then this is a good bet. Can get a good meal from anywhere between £3-£10 depending on how adventurous you are.
Highly recommended ++++

As a long-time user of the Mezbaan, I have to disagree with the previous user. Friendly staff, and a recently renovated seating area. This is not a restaurant in any formal sense, but really a takeaway with tables, but they serve good renditions of (largely northern) Indian classics. I'd steer clear of the meat (a good idea in all but the best restaurants) and enjoy the vegetarian stuff. Chick pea curry is great, as are the potato-spinach affairs. Also look out for the big casseroles of daily specials - last time a wonderful dry curry of aubergine, potato and whole green chilli.
Yes the dishes are warmed up in the microwave, except the naan, chapatis and parathas, all made to order from raw dough. None of the veg dishes cost more than £1.80. No alcohol.
Oh - don't bother with any of the other takeaways on this road. It's all industrial chips and mechanically reconstituted meat.

Absolute pants... served us microwaved food which could have been cooked hours ago. service was rubbish, overpriced menu. Stay well clear, a local kebabish is a better bet
