Now open just off Fleet Street, Ceena is a Korean restaurant serving traditional barbecue dishes, bibimbap sets, salads and Korean pancakes.

I went to CEENA with my colleagues last week and we weren't disappointed at all. The "Sizzling" concept was amazing as a chef cooked our ordered BBQ in front of our eyes and they were served in extremely hot iron plates in a sizzling sound. We have fully enjoyed the watching grilling, hearing sizzling sound and great taste!! I never forget the unique experience there. Moreover we were very much impressed and satisfied with hospitality from staffs.

I had beef barbecue with Korean barbecue sauce (really delicious flavor) with vegetables (SSAM), Kimchi (spicy cabbage) and soybean paste soup with rice. I was showed to put meat, soybean paste sauce and kimchi on a lettuce leaf and eat it altogether; I found it really delicious and healthy! The restaurant was nice and tidy and the stuff was absolutely friendly. I highly recommend this place!

I visited Ceena on a weekday around 1.30pm. It was clean inside and not crowded. I ordered a bowl of beef bibimbap for takeaway. At first I was confused about how to order, but the staff were helpful and once ordered, I got the food within a second. The food was very nice. The rice, beef, various vegetables and a sunny-side up were enough for me (female), so the price (5 pounds +) was acceptable. The red sauce which I could add to and mix with the food by myself was not too hot. I have had bibimbap many times in Asian countries (incl. Korea), and I found Ceena's stuff is an easy takeaway version of the true Korean bibimbap. I like it. While eating I was with a friend of mine. She looked envious smelling and looking at the stuff. I'll visit again to try another menu.

I just had/bought my lunch there. I was slightly surprised to find that I was directed to purchase take away when most of the counter with seats was free, but nevermind, it's lunchtime and after 4 hours chained to my desk I like to walk for as much of my 60 minutes as possible. While outside looking at the menu I was approached by a very helpful waiter with a tray and pieces of pork and beef on. I tried some and found it was brilliant, both meats. Their ploy worked, and a minute later I was inside ordering. I decided to play it safe and order the Beef with rice, it's probably the cheapest meal on the menu, I don't know. The meat was brilliant, I cannot overstate that, next time I shall get the pork to compare fully, but the Beef was very, very nice. The rice...wasn't. I know it's rice, so how much can one actually do with it is an important question, but it was undercooked.
The price was not brilliant either, it is yet another place that provides you with a large container only for you to open it and realise a third of the box is given over to rabbit-food, which admittedly some people like. I, however, was hoping for beef and rice, and lots of beef. There was not much beef, and a lot of rice.
I will go back there again, to have the pork, but I will not be a frequent customer. The staff were very helpful and efficient, the Beef was absolutely brilliant, but the rice and the price (rhyming unintended) were not.
