My name is Chelsea Seaforth, I live on Lordshiplane and visit the resturant Hisar on a regular basis, The food is absoulutly beautiful and the service is amazing. It's ideal for anyone who enjoys Turkish cuisine and even if your not to a fan, try it anyways and see if it can change your mind! it really is a experience worth trying.

Probably come here as much as anywhere as it is a) extremely handy and b) has good, cheap food that is well-served. Standard Turkish grill fare, but better quality than most.

I went here with friends on Saturday night and was so impressed. You don't go for the decor but the food is delicious and such good value. A real find!

this is mine and my partners faviourite restaurant in E Dulwich and we;ve visited innumerable times in the last year. great quality meat, the dishes are always tasty and consistent in the quality and there are lots of different options. the service is usually very effieicent and friendly apart from the very ocassional time when they are totally packed out and have a member of staff short, i was there one friday evening and it was like that. but never bad. they are a family restaurant, know their punters, and have been in the location a long time. very reliable and you always leave feeling full.. and not ripped off. unusual these days. top marks.

Terrible, terrible service. We must have been at a different restaurant than the reviewers below or at least the staff were different.
We waited 50 minutes for our food and when we saw people who’d come in after us getting their meals we asked where ours were. Instead of admitting they’d made a mistake they argued with us that it took 45 minutes to cook chicken and that it was very busy – it wasn’t.
A ‘really sorry for the delay - your food is on its way’ would have been fine but instead the staff were just rude and we left without eating. A big disappointment.

Great food, lovely turkish wine, friendly and not over pushy service. The lighting is perhaps a little bright and my partner was disspapointed that the candle wan't lit. Didn't stop him accepting my drunken proposal though!
