A very warm welcome from the staff. Seated immediately. Once ordered, the drinks were served within a minute. A good and varied menu. Excellent service from a very professional and knowledgeable staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Good to see a number Italian families in the restaurant. We shall certainly return.

I chose the restaurant for a family birthday meal, particularly as my nephew has celiac disease and I noticed that they had an extensive list of GF pasta and pizzas. We found the staff to be both knowledgeable about the subject and extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was of a good standard, with lots of choice and my nephew raved about his pizza! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening- and with a dearth of restaurants catering for celiac sufferers, we will certainly be back.

I celebrated my hen party with 50 ladies at Aragosta in Palmers Green
Aragosta were brilliant in helping to host a wonderful evening, As the ladies arrived we had three who didn't RSVP andthe staff were very obliging and helpful in organising extra seating.
The three course menu was varied and well chosen, the food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious (we had lots of compliments about how delicious the desserts were especially!)
The meal was fantastic value and my guests all commented on what good value it was.
I will be recommending Aragosta to others and look forward to our next meal there!

The place is bland and boring, staff ARE rude, food is a little boring. Sorry, but would not recommend to anyone to eat here. Be wary of the 5 star reviews below ...

It's always a pleasure to visit Aragosta Ristorante; the staff are so friendly, and extremely efficient, and the food is exceptional, as is the value for money.
We've been several times this year and have had consistenlly good experiences. It's such a cheerful-looking place as well.
This time we both had seafood salad - generous portions, including octopus (not just the cheaper seafoods) with a delicate, piquant dressing. They have a lovely pizza base with a light dressing, the ingredients of which I couldn't entirely identify, which is really tasty and which they serve as bread, unless you ask for fresh crusty bread, which is also excellent.
My wife had a beautiful steak, properly medium rare. She's really picky about steak. This one passed with flying colours. I had calves' liver - just melted in the mouth. Both came with potatoes and fresh, crisp vegetables. No need to order additional side dishes unless you're extremely hungry, or just want something particular. The house white is great - crisp, fruity and refreshing. No room for pudding after the great portions we had been served with. Pity - because the choice is really tempting.
They also make the best pizzas we have had. My wife is not a pizza lover, but she'll readily eat one from Aragosta. Forget you're Pizza Hut (right opposite) and Domino's (just down the road) - this is the real deal. They have gluten-free pizzas and pastas, which is a big bonus as we have a couple of friends who are gluten-intolerant.
Can't wait to return to Aragosta.

great carbonara shame about this experience:
atmosphere dead. feels very stiff and posh
manager added made up charges to a very simple 2 meal bill! I don't feel like i have any trust in this places which 'accidentally' add money to a bill. They can surely add two meals together as i'm sure they do this day in day out. It was scribbled on a bit of paper as a 'receipt'!

We visited this restaurant for the first time and overall were disappointed, We had a party of 8 and for a birthday party. Our main waiter was slow and rude, but another joined later one who was friendly (possibly the owner), as the first one made more of an effort when he turned up.
When the first waiter came to take our drinks order and we asked for a wine list, the waiter seemed quite put out. He gave us the wine list and then disappeared - I had to go and find him to ask for some drinks.
For mains, the mushroom risotto was nice, but the others were average.
Thankfully the second waiter was the one who brought the birthday cake out, as he made an effort. He salvaged the evening slightly, but not enough to make us want to return, especially considering the cost and the standard of the meal.
We weren't even given any change when we paid the bill to the first waiter, so just left.

Have visited this retaurant many times over the last few years, but am increasingly disappointed at the service.
Sometimes the food is okay, particularly when the manager is in attendance, but when he isn't around if does fail.
Service can be slow, especially being that the restaurant is virtually empty this is somewhat surprising.

I went here for a quiet night tonight and was surprised how busy this place can become (not that its a bad thing) as the food is so good. I have been here before and was equally happy but looks like the word is getting around and for a Thursday to have a 3/4 packed restaurant speaks volumes.
Service is friendly and attentive, always knowing just when to take your plates away and top-up your drinks.
The menu is extensive and plenty to offer for vegetarians, seafood and meat lovers. They also cater for those with gluten allergies which is great in this day and age.
The pizzas are very good in particular the Fiorentini and the Tortellini is lovely. Ingredients are excellent, you can taste the sweetness in the tomatoes, the crunch and pepperyness in the rocket.
And to top it off 25% discount on a two course meal for two and drinks within £22.00.
